Yummy Yami Intro
Yummy Yami is a Chinese restaurant located at 782 47th St in Brooklyn, NY. They can be contacted at (718) 851-9688 or +1 718-851-9688.
Customers have noted that Yummy Yami offers complimentary snacks at the beginning of the meal, including peanuts, seasoned seaweed (which was particularly liked by one reviewer), and pickled radish. One customer found the jellyfish dish to be too garlicky, while their dining companion, who enjoys garlic, appreciated it.
The mala dry pot is mentioned as a preset dish, containing potatoes, nest shrimp, squid, nappa cabbage, and other ingredients. It was described as spicy but lacking in significant flavor, with a desire for more meat, though it did contain around six shrimps and cost approximately $20.
The skewers were generally well-received, with the rice cake skewer being particularly praised for its crunchy exterior and soft interior. However, one customer was not pleased with a shriveled fishball skewer, and the beef stick skewer was noted for using cumin seeds instead of powder, resulting in an overpowering flavor. The fried bun was described as nice and crispy.
The restaurant's decor was described as cute, and the service was noted as nice. They accept card payments. One customer reported their overall bill to be around $70. Another reviewer from out of state mentioned having a really great experience and found the food to be different and better than their usual Florida Chinese food.

I like how they give yousnacks (side dish) in the beginning: peanuts, seaweed seasoned, radish pickled. Especially like the seaweed. Jellyfish was too garlic for me but my bestie was a fan she likes garlic. Mala dry pot was preset(no choice just already comes with potatoes nest shrimp squid nappa cabbage nd stuff), it was spicy but not much flavor. Wish they put more meat. But there was like six shrimps so that’s good.(~$20 for the dry pot) Skewers were nice especially love the rice cake, crunchy outside soft inside, not happy bout the shriveled up fishball. Beef stick too, was cumin seed instead of cumin powder, too overpowering. Fried bun is nice nd crispy. Decors were cute and the service was nice. They take card. Overall everything was ~$70.
Really great experience not our normal Florida Chinese food. Good job.
The food is absolutely delicious. The freshest fish and seafood and most amazing dishes. Great all year round with pots or lighter fare. A hidden gem.
The amount is only $70. You can't eat the frog. The meat is very sticky, the surface of the meat is yellow, and the bottom is full of vegetables.
I come here to eat often, the food and service are always very good
