About 嘴香园Yummy Garden Restaurant

Welcome to 嘴香园Yummy Garden Restaurant, also known as Yummy Garden, a promising Chinese restaurant located at 1306 Union Ave NE #12 in Renton, Washington. As a new entrant in the Chinese Restaurant category, Yummy Garden has already begun to garner positive attention from local users for its excellent service, generous portions, and notably tasty food. Based on initial customer reviews, this establishment distinguishes itself through its thoughtful preparation of dishes, paying attention to subtle details that elevate the dining experience.

While specific details about the restaurant's ambiance are not extensively described in the provided reviews, the positive feedback regarding the overall experience suggests a welcoming and comfortable environment. One customer who initially stopped by for a light snack expressed a strong intention to return for a full meal in the future, indicating a positive first impression of the restaurant's atmosphere and potential.

The service at 嘴香园Yummy Garden Restaurant has been consistently praised as "excellent." This high level of service suggests that the staff is attentive, friendly, and efficient, contributing significantly to a positive dining experience for patrons. Such commendations on service often reflect a commitment to customer satisfaction and can make a lasting impression on first-time visitors and regulars alike.

A key feature highlighted in the reviews is the generous portion sizes offered at Yummy Garden. One customer specifically mentioned "great portions," suggesting that diners can expect satisfying amounts of food that offer good value for their money. This is an important aspect for many local users when choosing a restaurant, ensuring a fulfilling meal that can sometimes even be shared or enjoyed as leftovers.

The quality and taste of the food at 嘴香园Yummy Garden Restaurant have also received high marks, with one reviewer simply stating "very tasty food." Beyond this general praise, specific dishes have been lauded for their careful preparation and attention to detail. One particularly insightful review pointed out the "delicate amount of oil used in the chow fun," a subtle yet significant detail that often distinguishes well-made Chinese cuisine from overly greasy renditions. This indicates a mindful approach to cooking, prioritizing flavor and texture over excessive oil.

Another dish that received specific acclaim is the lotus root stir-fry. The reviewer noted that it "retained the integrity of the crunch in every bite and did not drown in a cornstarch slushy like most other veggie stir-fries." This detailed observation underscores the kitchen's skill in preserving the natural texture of the vegetables and avoiding the common pitfall of over-thickened sauces that can often compromise the quality of stir-fried dishes. This attention to maintaining the integrity of ingredients demonstrates a higher level of culinary care and expertise.

Overall, one reviewer attested that "the kitchen puts thoughts & care into every dish made," leading them to award a well-deserved 5-star rating. This powerful statement encapsulates the essence of 嘴香园Yummy Garden Restaurant – a place where the culinary team is dedicated to crafting each dish with precision and a focus on quality. This suggests that diners can expect a level of thoughtfulness in their meals that goes beyond standard Chinese takeout fare.

Specific dishes mentioned in the reviews provide further insight into the menu. The "Chicken box" was described as having a "nice portion of the chicken" that is "tender" and coated in a "flavourful" sauce. The reviewer also appreciated the "gravy added to the top of the rice," indicating a unique and perhaps comforting touch to a familiar dish. This level of detail in feedback helps potential customers understand the specific qualities of individual menu items.

Another highlighted dish is the "Taishan signature fried rice noodle," which was noted for its "huge portion," making it advisable for sharing with a group. This again emphasizes the restaurant's generosity in servings and also suggests a signature dish that is popular enough to be specifically mentioned. The recommendation for sharing indicates its substantial size and potential appeal as a communal dish.

The fact that a customer who initially intended only a "light snack" was impressed enough to plan a future "feast" speaks volumes about the initial quality and appeal of 嘴香园Yummy Garden Restaurant. This suggests that even smaller tastes of their menu are compelling enough to warrant a more extensive exploration of their offerings.

In conclusion, 嘴香园Yummy Garden Restaurant in Renton appears to be a promising addition to the local Chinese dining scene. With consistent praise for its excellent service, generous portions, and, most importantly, its tasty and thoughtfully prepared food, it is quickly establishing itself as a place where quality and care are paramount. The subtle yet significant details, such as the delicate use of oil in the chow fun and the perfectly crunchy lotus root stir-fry, highlight a kitchen that is dedicated to culinary excellence. Whether you're looking for a satisfying individual meal like the flavorful Chicken Box or a large dish to share like the Taishan signature fried rice noodle, Yummy Garden seems poised to deliver a memorable dining experience. For local users in Renton seeking a Chinese restaurant that goes the extra mile in terms of quality and thoughtfulness, 嘴香园Yummy Garden Restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Stopped by for the first time for a light snack, but I do intend to come back for a feast in the future. Excellent service, great portions, and very tasty food. Perhaps the best and most subtle thing they did great is the delicate amount of oil used in the chow fun. The lotus root stir-fry retained the integrity of the crunch in every bite and did not drown in a cornstarch slushy like most other veggie stir-fries. Overall, I could attest that the kitchen puts thoughts & care into every dish made. Well deserved 5 star.

Chicken box: nice portion of the chicken, the chicken is tender and sauce is flavourful. Liked the gravy added to the top of the rice. Taishan signature fried rice noodle: huge portion, better to share with a group. Will come back and try other dishes.

This is a legit Chinese restaurant. First time there for a to go order, not quite sure how it would turn out but surprisingly delicious and well prepared. Prices are very reasonable, we are happy to find this place, will definitely be back! We ordered Chinese broccoli with beef, sweet and sour pork (which was a bit americanized), house fried rice (delish), Singapore noodle and bbq combo rice. The fried rice and noodle are not oily, they are both quite yummy. The bbq duck was not just full of fat, we especially enjoy it.

They like to sell their duck but the taste is not really there. Avoid the string beans with duck egg yoke. It is soggy and gammy. The beef hot pot is Ok but the cut of the beef flank is just too big. The hot pot seems made from the frozen meal with high heat to bring it up to the temperature but the inside is still tough. We tried to order a traditional dish that was on the white board but it was not available. It seems like they want to be a fancy seafood restaurant and miss the mark of doing the fundamental right.

I love the roasted goose and it tastes very good with the sauce. It’s rarely to have the goose in US but this one cooked very good. I also love the sweet taro. Definitely recommend it.
