About Yummi sushi and grill

Located at 300 W Bitters Rd #185, San Antonio, TX 78216, USA, Yummi Sushi and Grill offers a variety of Japanese cuisine, including sushi and grilled dishes, despite being listed under a Chinese Restaurant platform. You can contact them at (210) 236-8003 or +1 210-236-8003.

Customers describe Yummi Sushi and Grill as a spot with good quality food that is served hot and plated nicely. Sharing two appetizers and a roll reportedly costs around $20 per person, suggesting it's a reasonably priced option for dinner. The restaurant boasts a very extensive menu, although one reviewer noted that it lacks clear categorization of cooked versus raw sushi rolls.

One minor drawback mentioned was the miso soup being served in "very used plastic bowls" which didn't feel very clean, and the portion size of the soup was small. However, this was cited as the only negative aspect of the experience by that reviewer.

Another customer mentioned that the restaurant reminds them of a more classic-feeling Japanese establishment and praised the quality of the fish as being superior to most other places. They specifically highlighted the "all you can eat" menu as having a good selection and being worth the cost, especially for those who enjoy multiple sushi rolls. This reviewer was so impressed that they started eating before taking a photo and felt compelled to give the restaurant a 5-star rating.

Overall, Yummi Sushi and Grill appears to be a nice spot for an affordable dinner with a wide variety of sushi and grilled options. The food quality and presentation are generally well-received, and the availability of an all-you-can-eat menu is a significant draw for some. Potential customers may want to note the comment about the miso soup presentation.

my friend and I shared two appetizers and a roll, about $20 per person if split evenly. good quality and hot when it comes out, everything is plated very nicely. they have a very extensive menu, though it's hard to tell what rolls are cooked or raw since there's no specific section for it. a really nice spot for an affordable dinner. I will say the miso soup comes in these very used plastic bowls.. didn't feel very clean and there wasn't much soup portioned for us. I'd say that was the only negative thing

Reminds me of a more classic feel Japanese restaurant. Great fish compared to most other places. All you can eat menu had good selection and worth the cost for me, I'll eat 3 rolls myself. Couldn't help myself, started eating then realized they deserve a photo and 5 stars.

We tried three items. The Tokyo roll, the yummi two salmon Bento box, with California roll, and the kids got the chicken egg noodle dish. All three dishes were very good. The shrimp tempura was a little small and not fresh either, so that would be my only complaint. Service was Wonderful, and the restaurant was clean, including the restrooms. Next time, i would order something more like the california roll because it was so good.

Had an amazing experience at the all-you-can-eat sushi spot! The nigiri was fresh, flavorful, and truly stood out. Paired with hot sake, it was a delightful combination. The fried ice cream for dessert was the cherry on top—legit and perfectly executed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to indulge in quality sushi and unique desserts!
