About Yummi House Chinese Cuisine

Yummi House Chinese Cuisine is a Chinese Restaurant located at 1404 Eubank Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112, USA. They can be contacted at phone number (505) 271-8700 or mobile phone +1 505-271-8700.

According to customer reviews, Yummi House has been a local favorite for many years, consistently delivering excellent, piping hot, and fresh Chinese food. The service is frequently described as fantastic and quick. The restaurant offers both lunch and dinner specials, which are considered a great value with generous portions. The menu is extensive, providing a wide variety of options to choose from.

One customer specifically enjoyed the chicken lo mein lunch special, describing it as "pretty dang good." However, this reviewer had a negative experience with the hot and sour soup, comparing its taste unfavorably to a "musty tube sock soaked in dirty balsamic vinegar" and advising against it. The prices are noted as affordable, making it a good option for a quick lunch. The atmosphere is described as very laid back.

A minor inconvenience mentioned is that Yummi House does not accept NFC mobile payments, so customers should be prepared with alternative payment methods. Overall, Yummi House Chinese Cuisine is recommended for its reliable food quality, fast service, and affordable prices, particularly for their lunch and dinner specials, although the hot and sour soup may not be to everyone's taste.

I have been going to this place since I was a child to get Chinese food. And I must say they have never disappointed, not one time. The service is always fantastic and quick and the food is always excellent and piping hot and fresh when it comes out. If you were wanting to check this place out. suggest you do so you will not be disappointed. They have lunch and dinner Specials that are great value and you get lots of food and they have tons of different things on the menu to choose from! Great place cannot recommend enough!

Service here was great. I ordered the chicken lo mein lunch special, it was pretty dang good, however, the hot and sour soup was reminiscent of a musty tube sock soaked in dirty balsamic vinegar- I don't recommend it. Prices are affordable. They don't take NFC mobile payments which kinda sucks if you don't carry your debit card with you. The atmosphere was very laid back. Good place for a quick lunch.

I have been wanting to give this resturant a try for awhile. A co-work and myself stopped in after work for dinner. Got in around 4:45 before the rush. We ordered up paper chicken, egg drop and wanton soup to start. Soup was as expected but the paper chicken was delicious and probably the best I have had. My buddy ordered the Sizzling Beef and I got the Dragon Phoenix. Both came out right after we finished the appetizers. We both shared a bit of each. Both worth eating again but next time I am in I want to see what other gems they have to serve up. We left with plenty of food to take home and full stomachs. The service was great and the waitress was polite. As far as atmosphere it's exactly what you would expect for a Mom and Pops resturant. My only real complaint is the parking. I drive a full size truck and basically take up two spaces to not stick out into traffic. Though that falls on the city and property owners. Will certainly be back in the future. Since I am writing this I will say the taste is pretty authentic Chinese with what I tried. If you are looking for super saucy food you need to find a chain restaurant that cooks like Jaime Oliver. They also offer different spice levels so if you want the food "hot" you need to ask for it to be prepared that way. Hope this helps anyone that's on the fence. I enjoyed my visit and hope you do as well.

Their lunch is individual plates, their dinner is to share with family. Their orange chicken was decent. Everything else sucked. The waitress was rude and impatient..she didn't bother to check up on us. I had to get up and get my chili 2x as they ran out. Rice was cold, their idea of mixed vegetables fried is different than most. A picture menu would help. As well when we left she just handed us the check without saying "Have a good day" seemed Everyone else was greeted kindly and treated accordingly. Never coming back. It was myself and my kids. Worst experience ever.

Yummi House is a Chinese food restaurant located in the Princess Jeane Shopping Center off Eubank. They offer carry out and dine in. They have 20 lunch specials, all of which are either $9 or $10. They come with the entree; egg drop soup or hot and sour soup, or wonton soup for $.50 extra; a chicken skewer; a cheese puff; and a choice of steamed rice or fried rice. The entrees I was craving weren’t on the lunch special list. Instead, I got the orange peel chicken to go for $12.50. I additionally got a Sprite, for a total of $15 including tax (excluding tip). The orange peel chicken was listed as spicy on the menu, but the dish didn’t have any heat whatsoever. The flavor was good, but I would have preferred more sauce to be included in the chicken to eat with the rice. The “fried rice” didn’t contain any ingredients; I found one tiny piece of egg in the rice and it was slightly darker than steamed rice would have been, so technically maybe it was fried rice? Either steamed or “fried” rice is included in the entree, so I didn’t pay more for the fried rice, but I wasn’t impressed by it or the lack of ingredients. The lunch was ready very quickly, which is a positive for the business lunch crowd. It wasn’t memorable in any way, and I likely wouldn’t return knowing they cut corners on ingredients (like in the fried rice).
