The sea cucumber and mushrooms added depth and texture, making this dish both nourishing and satisfying. 4. I wish I could liked this Yu restaurant better than the original in Schaumburg. The food here was good but not great. The original ones food always have wok flavor and flavors. However I do like the lunch specials here. Specially the beef chow fun noodles, the Taiwanese beef noodles soup wasn’t flavorful enough and the noodles were mushy.

Nice place that attracts both local residents and Asian stomach, food is good, serving speed is decent and price is still somewhat fair to todays inflation

Nice to see Yu's took over previous Chinese restaurant, Golden Chef! Golden Chef was great but so is Yu's. Quality and service consistent with Schaumburg location, and also have a nice window view of the all behind-the-scenes of the kitchen and cooking. Venue is nice and clean but the seating/table situation to maximize space can be a bit better. Pictured here is their Hot & Sour Soup - if you don't like peppery, pass this up and grab an Egg Drop Soup, Wonton Soup, or for a serving for two, order the Crab & Velvet Corn Soup; Crab Rangoon; Orange Chicken; and Singapore Rice Noodles - tasty but was a bit oily. Didn't order their popular Lollipop Chicken Wings this time around, but definitely will next time.

Love that Yu’s has another location in Wheeling, closer to me! Have been to their Vernon Hills location numerous times. Have yet to patronize their Schaumburg location. The Wheeling location continues in the Yu’s Mandarin tradition of great food, great service and great prices. Portions are substantial and worth the money you are paying. You may hesitate at the price but when that plate comes out you will see it is more than worth it. Nice space as well!
