About Yong Sheng
Yong Sheng is listed as a Chinese restaurant located at 2825 Frederick Douglass Blvd in New York, NY 10039, USA. Operating within the platform category of Chinese Restaurants, it ostensibly provides Chinese food for sale, likely offering services such as takeout and potentially delivery, common for establishments of this type. The provided contact information includes a local phone number, (212) 862-2702, and a mobile phone number, +1 212-862-2702, suggesting avenues for customers to place orders or make inquiries.
However, the available customer reviews present a starkly contrasting and concerning picture of Yong Sheng. One reviewer, while not a frequent consumer of Chinese food due to sodium concerns, indicates that when they do choose to eat it, Yong Sheng is their preferred restaurant. This suggests a potentially positive aspect related to the taste or some other factor that appeals to this particular individual, despite their general reservations about the sodium content in Chinese cuisine.
Conversely, the second review is overwhelmingly negative and raises serious food safety concerns. This reviewer states, "Pretty sure the chicken is rat. Bro my bones are all over the place for the wings. I couldn’t even finish the meal. Absolutely disgusting. This Chinese food is disgusting." This feedback alleges the presence of rodent meat in the chicken wings and describes the overall experience as "disgusting," rendering the food inedible for this customer. Such an accusation, if accurate, would indicate severe issues with food quality, hygiene, and potentially the sourcing of ingredients at Yong Sheng.
Given these two highly divergent reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive and balanced picture of the environment, services, and features of Yong Sheng. The positive comment, focusing on a preference despite sodium concerns, offers a glimmer of a potentially satisfactory aspect for some customers. However, the grave allegations in the negative review cannot be ignored and raise significant red flags regarding the restaurant's standards.
Regarding the environment of Yong Sheng, the provided information offers no details. Without any descriptions from customers or information available online, it is impossible to ascertain the ambiance, cleanliness, or overall condition of the restaurant's physical space, assuming it has one that is accessible to the public or for order pickup. Similarly, there is no information about the staff, the order processing system, or the efficiency of their service beyond the fact that they likely take phone orders.
In terms of features, the limited reviews do not highlight any specific unique selling points of Yong Sheng. The first review alludes to a personal preference, but without further context, it's unclear what specific features might contribute to this. The second review focuses entirely on a severely negative experience with the food itself, overshadowing any potential positive features the restaurant might offer.
Concerning promotional information, there is no mention of any discounts, special offers, or marketing efforts by Yong Sheng in the provided text. The only information available is the conflicting customer feedback, which does not pertain to promotions.
To provide an objective introduction for local users in New York, NY, based solely on the given information, it is crucial to present both sides of the limited feedback without bias or speculation. Yong Sheng is a Chinese restaurant located in Harlem. One customer expresses a preference for it when choosing to eat Chinese food, possibly due to taste or other personal factors. However, another customer reports a severely negative experience, alleging the presence of rodent meat in their chicken wings and deeming the food "absolutely disgusting."
This stark contrast in reviews provides an inconclusive and concerning initial impression of Yong Sheng. Local users considering this restaurant should be aware of the serious food quality allegations made in one of the reviews. While one customer indicates a preference, the other's experience raises significant health and safety concerns. Without further information or more balanced feedback from a broader range of customers, it is difficult to recommend or describe Yong Sheng with any degree of certainty.
Therefore, the introduction to Yong Sheng Chinese Restaurant must be cautious and highlight the conflicting nature of the available feedback. Potential customers should consider the serious allegations made in one review alongside the positive sentiment expressed in the other. Further investigation or seeking more recent and comprehensive reviews from other sources might be advisable before deciding to order from or visit Yong Sheng.

I'm not a fan of eating too much Chinese food because of the sodium in it. But when I do eat chinese food, I eat it from this. Restaurant
Pretty sure the chicken is rat. Bro my bones are all over the place for the wings. I couldn’t even finish the meal. Absolutely disgusting. This Chinese food is disgusting
Nope never again buying this is so bad
Just moved into the neighborhood & this Chinese food was very fresh & good. The chicken was crispy , shrimp were cleaned .
This place has good chinese food though sometimes its a hit or miss. The lady who answers the phone is polite and speaks very good english. The dumplings are often too thick and sometimes the shrimp rolls taste like they've been sitting in old oil. Everytime I buy Chinese food its hard to say I want it again... instead I always seem to ask myself WHy? After eating it and not really enjoying it too much. It would be nice if it was consistent .
