Wonderful buffet style breakfast on the weekend 8-2pm! The fried chicken strips and waffles were to die for! Homemade chicken soup was better than moms! Many choices, all made from scratch and the best buffet I've had in ages.

This is my first time at Yo Mama's. The atmosphere is very inviting my server is very attentive, and she answered all my questions. The decor is friendly and the restaurant was very clean when I came. The blue cheese burger I ordered was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The fries were soggy and undercooked, wish they were crispy. The burger I'd give it a solid 8.5/10 the fries 3/10 they were hot but that's about it. I'd come back again. Recommend you giving them a shot. Support your local restaurants.

First time I camera here I ordered a meat lover omelet. Omelet was delicious and fluffy. Hashbrowns were cooked to perfection and the pancakes had that 7am mom making breakfast feel and taste to them. So good. Owner was super friendly when he came to talk to me and insisted I tried the biscuits and gravy and brought me a sample plate of it. Oh my God it was TO DIE for. Will definitely be coming back here. Prices are reasonable staff was friendly and fool is truly made with love.

Update: June 2024 I'll keep my initial review posted below for reference, although I did update my rating score from 5 stars to 2 as reflected above) Yo Mama's has changed its restaurant format to that of a buffet. Super disappointing. I really enjoyed the southern charm their menu used to have. We walked right in, and we're seated instantly. But no one ever came to get a drink order, and we weren't even checked on until we were ready to leave. Service was actually non-existent, and I hate to say that about anywhere, but that was the case here. Limited selection on the buffet. It was largely breakfast foods and, oddly enough, meatloaf. None of which really stood out. We spoke to the cashier as we paid for our meal (Victoria, our waitress from the past visit). She mentioned the format change was due to additional breakfast restaurants opening in the area and that they were likely going to change again to a dinner restaurant. I do honestly hope they change because I have no plan to come back to this restaurant while it's experimenting with the buffet concept. ---original review--- I found Yo Mama's while flipping through Google Maps and instantly saved it as a place I wanted to go. My logic being: who wouldn't want to try a restaurant named "Yo Mama's?" The restaurant stayed in my want-to-go list for several months. We finally went in the fall of 2021. It then became clear that I had discovered a small little local gem. The restaurant was on the smaller side and appeared to be more of a breakfast diner. They had it dressed up in seasonal decor which I thought made it a comfortable environment. Our waitress, Victoria was pleasant and delightfully sassy and made our experience far more enjoyable. She told us what her recommendations were and what was popular. She was even honest enough to tell us what she didnt care for as well. Her patience with us as we took forever to get our order ready was positively notable as well. The menu here is southern comfort food. We started with soup. Cream of Carrot. Never even knew that soup existed, had to try it. It's a rich buttery soup that blew me away. Ate it so fast, I never took a picture of it. In retrospect, I should've bought some to go. 5 stars on the soup alone. I ordered the Meatloaf. Very sizable portion here. It was good and filling. They drizzle it with a white gravy southern style. Mashed potatoes here were freshly mashed and had the skin in them just like I prefer. It also came with some extremely delicious baked beans. Even though I only had a bite, the Salibury steak was great. Had the perfect seasoning and texture. The cheesy overload burger was not quite as cheesy as the menu made it seem but it was still okay. 2 grilled cheese sandwiches serving as the bun for a hamburger. It was really quiet when we went here, but I hope they do well because I would like to come back here whenever I'm back in the area. Highly recommend this little gem
