As a Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn, Yin Ji Chang Fen offers a variety of dishes, with some customers expressing high satisfaction and others reporting disappointment. One enthusiastic customer described the food as "bomb," leaving them fully satisfied with amazing flavor from the soy sauce noodles. They found the congee to be a great portion despite the bowl's appearance and noted the freshness of all the food. While mentioning that ventilation could be improved, they found the interior overall very clean and the service great, expressing eagerness to return for breakfast or brunch and considering it a comforting option.

However, another customer had a significantly different experience, expressing extreme disappointment, especially in comparison to a restaurant in China they had enjoyed. They found the congee too watery and bloating, and the curry combo was criticized for being mostly pigs skin with very little else. The only dish they found satisfying was the steamed noodles, which they felt were overpriced and easily found cheaper elsewhere in the neighborhood. This customer was unsure about returning due to their negative experience.

Based on these reviews, Yin Ji Chang Fen - Brooklyn appears to offer a mixed experience for its customers. While some appreciate the flavorful noodles, fresh food, and good service, others have concerns about the quality of certain dishes like the congee and curry combo, as well as the value of some items like the steamed noodles. The cleanliness of the interior is noted positively, but ventilation might be an area for improvement. Potential customers may want to consider these differing opinions when deciding to dine at Yin Ji Chang Fen.

No specific information regarding the restaurant's environment beyond cleanliness and ventilation, or any promotional offers, was available in the provided reviews. The focus was primarily on the food quality and service.

This place is bomb! Never have expected it. I left fully satisfied and full. Amazing flavor from the soy sauce noodles. Congee was great portion despite the bowl size looking small. Everything tasted fresh. Ventilation needs a bit more work but interior was overall very clean. Service was great. Overall can’t wait to dine in again. Nice early breakfast or weekend brunch on a lazy Sunday. Soul food because winter is coming. Hope these guys keep it up πŸ‘

We were extremely disappointed with the restaurant in our neighborhood that we had been so excited about. The food was not up to par with the restaurant in China that we had enjoyed so much. The congee was too watery and left us feeling bloated, and the curry combo was mostly pigs skin with very little of anything else. The only dish that we found satisfying was the stemmed noodles, but they were overpriced. We could easily find a cheaper alternative in our neighborhood. Overall, it was a letdown and we are unsure if we will be returning.

The rice noodles were great, very soft! Note that they are Guangzhou style, so they have yellow chives and some lettuce them. I really like the congee. Nice rich and cream with savory century egg! Definitely recommend the typical beef and shrimp noodles, but try out the chicken with mushroom.

This restaurant was famous since 1950s in China. It has a franchise in China Town, I am very glad that now we have franchises in 18th Avenue Brooklyn too. The famous sticky rice beef roll is very yummy. This place is very crowded but the wait is quick. Please note this place only accepts cash and does not accept credit card.

Finally they have Brooklyn location! Authentic and traditional Cantonese congee and rice noodle place. It brings back all the childhood memories. Larger menu than Manhattan location and love their new menu design too. Friendly staffs and great dinning atmosphere. Lunch, tea time or dinner. Plenty of meters parking. I can see myself coming here more often 😊
