Yep Kitchen （AYCE Sushi & Hotpot ）源记茶餐厅

Food was decent but customer service was not. The workers are so rude and disrespectful, with no help regarding the menu selection. I came in with a group and ordered two orders of the AYCE sushi which the waitress gave us attitude about. Do not come here if you’re visiting Chicago or even a local to Chinatown! Horrible restaurant hospitality for a new shop that hasn’t even been here for 5+ years.

Dined here twice, both were very good! Service was ok, you order yourself through the ipad and the server much confirm order We ordered egged shrimp, veggie, pork, beef, some drink and braised squab Food portion is kinds small but I will say the food taste very good! Since it is new and obviously recently remodeled, the restaurant is very clean and bright and restroom is clean

We came by for some steam rice roll (shrimp and pork liver) and soft shell crab. The salted egg yolk soft shell crab came out really fast and the rice roll took a really long time (30’). Both were okay. I like the soft cloud-like texture of the rice roll but i was thrown off by the lettuce and the lack of flavor (could use more sauce). I’d not recommend the soft shell crab. The place is quite large with beautiful decor, plenty of seating and I’m glad we checked it out.

Solid Chinese food. Clean & bright restaurant with nice, fast service. Enjoyed the free hot tea. Got the mapo tofu, chicken with broccoli, stir fried beef noodles, shrimp wonton soup (very good) & salt & pepper squid. Everything was good. Wish the squid was crispier but it had good flavor. I definitely want to return to try the rice rolls but they only serve them til 4 pm.

Newly opened restaurant business in Chinatown. Dishes were very good. Great options too! At 2:30 pm to 5:00pm, they offer middle of the day specials, which they call “Afternoon Tea”… includes a beverage. Deal! Metered street parking and there’s a fee parking lot across the street too.
