About Xing Dragon

Xing Dragon is a Chinese restaurant located at 305 E 115th St in the East Harlem neighborhood of New York City, NY 10029. They can be contacted at (212) 860-3232 or their mobile number +1 212-860-3232. This establishment appears to offer both takeout and delivery services, as indicated by customer reviews mentioning ordering through platforms like Uber Eats.

The available customer feedback for Xing Dragon presents a stark contrast in experiences. One reviewer reported a severely negative experience, stating they ordered food and found a "roach came running out of bag." This is a significant food safety concern and would understandably deter potential customers. Additionally, this reviewer mentioned receiving a Diet Coke as a "free soda" without a choice and reported finding a "dead mosquito On top of ken," presumably referring to the food container. Based on this experience, the reviewer strongly advised against recommending the place to anyone.

On the other hand, there is a brief but highly positive review stating, "I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ❤️ YOUR FOOD." This indicates that at least one customer has had a very enjoyable culinary experience with Xing Dragon.

Another customer shared their experience ordering through Uber Eats on an evening when other Chinese restaurants in their area were closed, likely due to it being Thanksgiving. This suggests that Xing Dragon may be open and operational during holidays when other establishments are closed, potentially making it a convenient option during those times.

This same reviewer also highlighted a positive interaction with a staff member named Andy. They described Andy as "absolutely amazing, very friendly, very kind and extremely willing to help his customers." This positive feedback about the customer service suggests that Xing Dragon may have staff who are dedicated to providing a good experience over the phone and potentially in person for takeout orders.

Furthermore, this reviewer complimented the culinary skills of the kitchen staff, stating, "I would love to say that your cooks know how to cook. Thank you so much." This directly contradicts the negative feedback regarding food quality from the first reviewer and indicates that some customers are indeed satisfied with the taste and preparation of the food at Xing Dragon.

Considering the limited number of reviews available, it is challenging to form a definitive overall assessment of Xing Dragon. There is a significant discrepancy between the extremely negative experience reported by one customer concerning food safety and the highly positive feedback from others regarding both the food quality and the customer service provided by at least one staff member. This suggests that experiences at Xing Dragon may vary considerably.

There is no information provided in these reviews about the restaurant's environment or ambiance for dine-in customers, which might suggest that Xing Dragon primarily focuses on takeout and delivery services. The mention of ordering through Uber Eats confirms their participation in food delivery platforms, expanding their service reach to local users who prefer to order remotely.

Beyond the food itself and the customer service, there are no specific features of Xing Dragon highlighted in these reviews. We do not know if they have a particularly extensive menu, specialize in certain regional Chinese cuisines, or offer any unique dishes. Similarly, there is no mention of any promotional information, such as discounts, special offers, or loyalty programs.

In conclusion, Xing Dragon in East Harlem presents a mixed picture based on the limited available reviews. While one customer reported a severe food safety issue and a negative experience with their order, others have expressed strong satisfaction with the food quality and have praised the friendliness and helpfulness of at least one staff member. The restaurant offers takeout and delivery services, including through platforms like Uber Eats, and may be open during holidays. Local users considering Xing Dragon should be aware of the conflicting feedback and might want to consider this when making their decision. Further reviews or information from other sources could provide a more comprehensive understanding of the typical experience at this establishment.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ❤️ YOUR FOOD. We ordered on Uber Eats this evening because every other Chinese Restaurant in our area was closed due to it being Thanksgiving. I called this establishment prior to ordering on Uber Eats and I spoke with Andy. Andy is absolutely amazing, very friendly, very kind and extremely willing to help his customers. Thank you Andy. I would love to say that your cooks know how to cook. Thank you so much.

Ordered through uber eats. Got the curry chicken, the thin special noodles with everything in, the fried shrimp and white rice. Everything was phenomenal. Don’t know if management changed because comments from 3 years ago were roasting the place but everything I tried was fresh fresh fresh. Bravo guys

The fried shrimp was dry and bland, the rice was poorly cooked, I waited 45 minutes too be lied to about my order being "almost ready" when I clearly saw my order starting to be made. This place has gone completely down hill in the last decade. Don't waste your money here, go somewhere with actual service and food.

If I’m going to be honest, this is just a regular run of the mill Chinese food place. You’re going to get mediocre food for a cheap price, I wouldn’t consider that a full negative. Yes, there is the probability of getting food poisoning which not uncommon with these types of neighborhood restaurants. If you want a better experience with Chinese food then I suggest searching online for Chinese restaurants in 116st. Especially the ones with 4 stars and above.
