Thanks for having more than pork dumplings. I love the but i cannot eat pork. Very well made, fresh ingredients made by order. My favorite the pan fried beef dumplings I tried all dumplings and the scallions pancake, it was the best I ate on Chinese restaurant ever. Come and try. I’ll be back for trying the bowl, the Chinese burger and the crystal noodles. Great service. Thank you. I hope when I come back do not find crowded or maybe yes, and I’ll be glad to see you’re growing!

A new dumplings restaurant in Silver Lake. This place has inner Mongolian style food and it’s very different from most southern Chinese dumplings in both the wrapping and the fillings. The XLB with any fillings was really good. The beef rice was really good. The beef was so tender I felt like it was cooked for a long time. Everything I tried was very good. Totally recommend!

This place was recently opened. We ordered lamb and beef shaomai, Chinese burger, and sour and hot soup. We also tried the crystal noodle and sweet corn pancake from the free tasting stand. The food is so good and authentic. I am a beef person, so like the beef filling more than the lamb ones. Also, the chilli oil is very good! This is a perfect place to go for Chinese brunch. Would definitely come back to try other items on the menu! Also, I don’t think you need to tip! Another reason why to come back for more yummy shaomai in this economy!

I'm not usually a big fan of dumplings, but their beef shaomai was definitely worth trying—flavorful and well-prepared. However, I’d highly recommend their Northern-style beef rice dish over their dumplings. While it looks a bit different from the advertised image, the taste more than makes up for it—absolutely delicious! One thing to note is the parking situation—you’ll need to find street parking, so plan accordingly. Overall, a great experience, and I’d definitely consider coming back!

Authentic Northwestern Chinese food can be found at Xibei Dumplings, recently opened located in the heart of LA’s Silverlake neighborhood. Their specialties are their freshly made in-house steamed shaomai, with even a pan-fried option as well! My favorite was their chicken-mushroom flavor but there’s plenty of other options, including a veggie one💚 Their Chinese Hamburger and Veggie Crystal Noodles were both fantastic and mains that I would order again- there’s even a a better deal if you order both🙌🏼 We had: 🥟Shaomai (angus beef, lamb, chicken mushroom, pan-fried beef, shrimp zucchini, veggie), 🍔Xianxi Pork Rougamo, 🍜Veggie Crystal Noodle, 🍛Beef Stew Over Rice, 🥞Scallion Pancake, 🍗Popcorn Chicken
