Xiao Lings is the best place for handmade dumplings and noodles in DFW. Service is fast, food is very tasty and in large portions, and it has a calming atmosphere. You can watch the chefs make the noodles and hand-fill the dumplings if you want, too. Beware, the crisp fried chicken is the spiciest thing on the menu, but very tasty!

Place was pretty good. The dumplings and noodles were house made and they tasted greated. Had the combination dumplings and pork xiao long bao with the Lanzhou noodles. Can't complain one bit about this place. Also for the peeps that love your American so called Chinese food, they do have lunch specials with orange chicken and general tsaos. Didn't have any but, pretty sure there were people in there eating it and loving it.

Upon entering, we were greeted with enthusiasm. They told us to sit where we wanted. We ordered our soft drinks and the quickly brought out. The waitress came back and took our order. I ordered the won ton soup and the broccoli chicken with brown sauce and fried rice. My friend ordered Orange chicken. The food was out fast. She the soup was a bowl. Honestly, that soup would have been enough that there were at least 8 won tons in the bowl. That bowl of soup was huge and delicious. Our food came out to our table fast. I could have eaten it all, but I knew my chicken in broccoli needed to be in my mouth and then my belly. I was not disappointed. The food was lovely just lovely. Next time, I will try the dumplings.

First off, Service was below average for a slow evening. No menu knowledge about allergies or true ingredients. Drink machine had extreme after taste, order can sodas with ice after one sip. Felt very rushed and not very attentive to the table. Secondly, The food its self was not a total waste but could be greatly improved. All three proteins were good orange chicken, general Tao chicken, sesame chicken) but the noodles were over cooked and lacked any seasoning. The chicken dumplings were tasty in side but completely overcooked. Cream cheese wontons was average at best. Finally, The ambiance was good, nice decor and the open kitchen gives the establishment a sleek/modern look. The prices for overall service and food is totally not worth it. Truthfully I would not recommend this establishment. FYI- I am a professional chef

I recently dined at here, and overall, I had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, especially the dumplings, which were flavorful and perfectly cooked. The service was excellent—our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The staff was welcoming and provided great recommendations, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. However, one thing that stood out to me was the way rice was handled. I noticed that they were taking rice directly from an Instant Pot in front of customers, which didn’t seem very professional. It felt a bit out of place in an otherwise well-managed restaurant. I believe a more discreet approach would enhance the overall dining experience. Other than that, everything was fantastic! I truly hope they consider making this small change, as it would improve the ambiance. Despite this, I would still highly recommend this restaurant for its great food, warm hospitality, and excellent service. I look forward to visiting again!
