Best Wuhan traditional foods in NYC! They reopened in Sept 2024 after the previous close at the end of 2023. My wife is from Wuhan and we love their food! Very authentic beef noodles and Mian Wo.

This is my 3rd visit to Wuhan Foodie, with previous visits in 2021 and 2022. Back then, the Hot Dry Noodle was much tastier. Being originally from Wuhan, I came to this restaurant every time I visited NYC (except May 2023 when this place was closed). However, the quality seems to have declined. I’m not sure if there’s been a change in the chef, but the food is now below average. The hot dry noodle was way too dry, and both the noodles and the sesame sauce were not authentic. Very disappointed.

The sesame sauce dry noodle is the best of what I had in US. The owner is from the hometown of hot dry noodles. Other snacks are also very authentic. Highly recommended for Hubei cuisine! 热干面太好吃了!

This place has the most authentic Wuhan food here in NY region. They have been known for it and this is my first time visiting. Their Hot Dry Noodle is spot on with the exact flavor you would expect in Wuhan. The photo here is their Oily Shumai, just straightup delicious. Just in case, Wuhan Foodie has relocated and is now inside the New York Food Court.

I was born in Wuhan and I can ensure that Wuhan Foodie tastes exactly like hometown! The hot dry noodles, salty doughnut, doupi and Shaomai are my favorite! You can take even take materials back home and cook on your own!
