Disappointed in what this restaurant changed compared to pre-COVID times. It used to be one of my family’s favorite restaurants with quality fresh handmade dishes but as many others noted, it has become a like fast food takeout place. Extremely disappointed that the soup dumplings came out with the skin open and soup all spilled both times that I came in the past week. This was immediately after they were delivered to us at the restaurant. The taste is not the same either- they taste very gummy as if they are all steamed directly from being frozen. For comparison, I uploaded photos of what they used to be- they used to be amazing but not anymore. Some of the other dishes are still okay, but I’ll definitely be visiting less frequently. Come here only if you want fast food quality food. Even if you want to dine in, everything now comes in disposable containers which is very wasteful and not eco-friendly.

So the service is non-existent. You order your food from a kiosk machine. And then sit down and wait for your number to be called. The soup dumplings were not bad. The noodles were pretty good, but the spicy chicken was a cold dish. I did not know, and I did not eat it. Overall, it was a good experience and not expensive.

Found this little gem through Social Media. 20 mins driving is nothing for such high quality of food. It was surprisingly fantastic and wholesome. The place is small but nice décor and very clean. No contact self order kiosk was interesting. Great for social distancing in a pandemic era. My all time favorite was the preserved vegetables with fish fillets soup. The broth was bubbling hot, the sourness of pickles vegetables and fresh slices of fish intertwined of flavor hit you right on the spot. It was so delicious I bought two extra soups for home. We also love the tofu tops with spicy pork and vegis. A delicious unique dish I haven't seen elsewhere. Could use a bit more seasonings. Still love it. The dumplings doughs are chewey and perfect thickness. The one with peanut sauce is the must try. The baos with preserved/green vegetables were tasty. The shrimps dim sum crunchy and chewy textures make you want to savour it on your tongue. Can't tell you how happy we felt after leaving the place. We ordered so much food for brunch but they were all so good, we finished it all in one sitting. Definitely will come back.

DUMP since covid and the new self-serve atmosphere. Feel like a rest stop self serve Dumpling place. Will not return and suggest future guests go to other locations in the area. You can spend your money wisely somewhere else. So many other options. Just Google dumpling joint!

The dumplings that we ordered were good. Each had a very unique flavor. They could use more variety in their drinks. And they have a interesting self servicing system. Atmosphere was clean and very quiet. Overall, the dumplings are what I came here for and it was to my satisfaction.
