Wonderbar Beacon

So glad we stopped here when we were passing through Beacon. Great menu offers a mix of elevated and comfort foods, all delicious. Really appreciated the cocktail menu that had some amazing season specials (the Hot Buttered Rum was sensational). And the decor and environment were gorgeous.

What a gem this place is! The food was absolutely delicious! I had the sushi fritters and wagyu burger and they were both amazing. I definitely care about the atmosphere when I’m dining and it was truly perfection. The dim lighting and moody vibes create an inviting warmth that was just what we were looking for. Both the front room and side room were gorgeous. Special shout out to the bartender in the blue one piece and manager (?) with the white blazer for accommodating us on New Year’s Eve! (Didn’t get names, sorry.) It was a last minute trip and we didn’t have reservations but they made it happen and gave us a perfect little table in the side room by the fireplace. Our waitress, Sky (I think) was fantastic as well! Personable yet professional. It was the perfect experience for our New Year’s Eve Night! Definitely recommend to locals and visitors.

Friendly staff. Food is incredible and reasonably priced. Their truffle tots is a must-order. This is my second time here and the first time I had the tots they are unforgettable. I also had the wagyu burger which was amazing. This would be my go-to when I visit Beacon from NYC.

We chose to be seated outdoors . Where we sat we could see the fresh spring green Beacon mountain. The colorful loop bus making its stop, proud owners walking their dogs and the chic stores all added to the soothing vibes. The service was good and food creative and delicious. The avocado rice had a blend of Mexican and Japanese to it with a crispy finish. I’m sure the other dishes too have unique blends.

Nashville dumplings were to die for with Nashville hot seasoning in all the right places Burger had a nice soft sesame seed bun and came with kettle chips The cocktails were the real star of the show here, Prosecco strawberry was my wife’s choice, I went with the tiki bitters drink and it was like a creamy pineapple ode to summers farewell Overall this place has great food and the cocktails are amazing, they are charging New York City prices ($17 a cocktail??), ($24 for a burger) which is pretty wild They were very busy on a Friday when we came and everything was very slow, but the server was communicative which we appreciated.
