Wok Xpress

I've been twice now. Close to closing bc I work nights. Staff was very friendly (not usual for restaurants about to close). The portions were large. And for the price well worth it. My husband had the sesame chicken, it wasn't as crispy as it could be like it had sat in the sauce all day. But for about $10 I can't complain. The lo mein portion was HUGE! Enough for 3 meals. The noodles were a little oily, and there wasn't a whole lot of chicken. But again the price and portion size out weigh these little negatives. And we got 2 egg rolls that were very crispy. Burgers from fast food joints run 6.99-8.99.

Great place. Fresh delicious food

Hands down one of the best places to have lunch or dinner if you are wanting Chinese food!! Food is always made fresh, mad fast and never disappointed on the taste side!! I use to live across the street and would go here 2 to 3 times a week but I would drive from uptown where I live now for this place any time!!

I’ve been a loyal customer at Wok Xpress in Lancaster since they opened eight years ago, but my recent visit was extremely disappointing. I went for lunch two Monday ago and had a terrible experience with their customer service. I specifically asked for my Mongolian beef to have minimal sauce because it’s usually too sweet for my taste. However, when I took my first bite, it was clear they had ignored my request and drenched it in extra sauce. When I politely asked if they could give me another portion with less sauce, the front desk person dismissed my request and said, “This is how it comes.” Then the manager came out and, instead of addressing the issue professionally, arrogantly told me, “If you don’t like it, we can give you your money back, but don’t think you’re getting a free meal.” I never asked for a free meal or a refund—I just wanted my food prepared as requested. After being a customer for eight years, they made me feel like I was doing something wrong just for asking for a simple adjustment. The lack of care, dismissive attitude, and arrogance from the manager made for a terrible experience. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for good customer service.

Terrible. This place has gone all the way down. When I got out of my car I saw a rat run in front of me. That should have been my sign to TURN AROUND and go home. The shrimp Lo Mein was terrible and watery. Vegetables were hard and it was just salty and soggy. The 2 girl at the cash register were rude, had bad energy and terrible customer service.They served me soggy men on a plastic plate. I will NEVER be back. If I could give 0 stars I would. Save your money and go elsewhere.
