About Wok's Deli
Located at 11575 Rosecrans Ave in Norwalk, California, Wok's Deli is a Chinese restaurant that has garnered positive attention from local users, particularly for its commitment to serving fresh, hot food and its generous portion sizes. Reachable at (562) 584-4135 or via mobile at +1 562-584-4135, Wok's Deli appears to be a beloved spot for those seeking quality Chinese cuisine in the Norwalk area.
One enthusiastic reviewer described the food at Wok's Deli as "excellent," emphasizing that it is "Cooked fresh directly to your table steaming hot." This highlights a key feature of the restaurant – a focus on preparing meals to order, ensuring optimal freshness and temperature upon serving. The same reviewer also praised the hostess/server as "sweet" and noted their consistent smile, indicating a welcoming and pleasant service experience. For this customer, Wok's Deli has become their "go-to place for Chinese food," a strong testament to their satisfaction.
Another customer shared their experience with Wok's Deli's takeout service, which they utilized due to COVID restrictions (though the specific year of this review is not provided, the mention suggests a period where such restrictions were in place). This reviewer also lauded the food as "fresh and yummy" and highlighted the "very large portions," mentioning that they had leftovers for "days." This reinforces the theme of generous servings and good value. The review also noted that most of the dishes ordered came with a side of steamed white rice. As a bonus, they received free egg rolls with their order. While the reviewer personally found the egg rolls to be "too plain" and suggested they needed some type of meat filling, the gesture of a free item is a positive aspect of their service. The reviewer concluded by stating they "Definitely would recommend" Wok's Deli, further solidifying its positive reputation.
Based on these reviews, Wok's Deli distinguishes itself within the Chinese Restaurant category through several notable characteristics. Firstly, the emphasis on freshly cooked food, served steaming hot, suggests a commitment to quality and a satisfying dining experience. Secondly, the consistently mentioned "very large portions" indicate that customers receive substantial meals, often providing excellent value for their money. Thirdly, the service is highlighted as friendly and welcoming, with a "sweet" hostess/server who makes a positive impression. Lastly, the provision of complimentary items, such as the free egg rolls with takeout orders, demonstrates a customer-oriented approach.
While the reviews primarily focus on the food and service, they also offer some insights into the potential environment of Wok's Deli. The fact that food is cooked fresh and served directly to the table suggests a traditional restaurant setup with a kitchen that prepares individual orders. The presence of a hostess/server implies a dine-in option with table service. The atmosphere is likely to be comfortable and welcoming, given the positive comments about the staff. It might be a neighborhood-style restaurant that prioritizes good food and friendly service over elaborate décor.
In terms of services, Wok's Deli clearly offers both dine-in and takeout options, as evidenced by the two reviews. The positive experience with takeout, including the freshness and large portions, indicates that they maintain their food quality for off-premises dining as well. The provision of steamed white rice as a standard side with many dishes is a common practice in Chinese restaurants. The inclusion of free egg rolls with a takeout order suggests a potential promotional aspect or a gesture of goodwill towards customers. It is reasonable to assume that they also take phone orders for both dine-in reservations (if applicable) and takeout. The availability of third-party delivery services is not mentioned in the reviews, but it is a possibility that local users may want to explore through online delivery platforms.
Features of Wok's Deli that stand out include their commitment to serving freshly cooked, hot food, the very generous portion sizes that offer great value, the friendly and welcoming service provided by the staff, and the potential for complimentary items with orders. These elements contribute to a positive dining experience that has made Wok's Deli a "go-to place" for at least one local customer and has earned recommendations from others.
The provided information contains a mention of free egg rolls being included with a takeout order, which could be interpreted as a form of promotional offering, at least at the time of that specific review. However, there is no broader information about ongoing specials, discounts, or other promotional activities at Wok's Deli. Local users interested in any current promotions or special offers may want to contact the restaurant directly using the provided phone numbers to inquire. They may also have information about specials available in-store.
In conclusion, Wok's Deli in Norwalk appears to be a highly regarded Chinese restaurant that prioritizes fresh, delicious food served in generous portions, accompanied by friendly and welcoming service. The positive feedback regarding both dine-in and takeout experiences suggests a consistent commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The potential for complimentary items adds to the positive impression. For local users in Norwalk seeking a reliable Chinese restaurant that offers excellent value and a taste of freshly prepared dishes, Wok's Deli, located on Rosecrans Ave and reachable at (562) 584-4135, is definitely worth considering.

Customer Reviews
Food is excellent. Cooked fresh directly to your table steaming hot. Hostess/server is sweet and always has a smile on her face. It's our go-to place for Chinese food.
I called and ordered take out due to Covid restrictions. Food was fresh and yummy, very large portions. We had leftovers for days. Most dishes we ordered came with a side of steamed white rice. We got free egg rolls which personally I thought were too plain, definitely needed some type of meat in my opinion. See the pics for entrees we ordered. Definitely would recommend.
Good inexpensive and fast Chinese food. Their beef chow fun is a great deal and can feed 2 to 3! Usually order to go but eating in is good for a quick lunch. Not really somewhere to go but staff is friendly and food is good.
I am always looking for great Chinese food that's kind of old school and above the Panda Express type. This is it. Authentic, delicious and well priced with abundant servings. The combo fried rice was just mouth watering, and the salt and pepper pork chops are crispy and crave worthy
It is close to 5 stars for a reason, it is delicious! THE best Chinese restaurant I have been to in Cali. I am from another state, and the Chinese food here... It is just not the same. This is just like home. I love the beef and broccoli . I have tried the beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli, orange chicken, egg drop soup, cream cheese wonton, egg roll, and the fried shrimp. The beef and broccoli is out of this world, seriously, you have to try it. Broccoli isn't to crunchy, nor mush, and the beef is so tender. It seriously comes in so much tasty sauce! Can upgrade to fried rice for a small fee. The let you customize even, or at least they did when asked. I was able to get my egg drop soup plain (no tofu or veg) and they were even nice enough to swap my fried shrimp for a few cream cheese wontons. The cream cheese wontons have a touch of sweetness which is the best in my opinion. I wasn't a huge fan of the fried shrimp, and the orange chicken was a little on the sweet side.. (I prefer spicy). However, I can see why everyone else recommendeds it. The beef and broccoli was just sooooo good though. The family A dinner come with a big entree, 2 cream cheese wontons, an egg roll, 1 fried shrimp, and egg drop soup. It is worth it! All that food is enough for two, but you won't want to share, you will want to double up. The staff is always kind, they are quick, and they have never messed up my order. Very consistent! The chef is awesome and I would recommend this to anyone still on the hunt for a great chinese place! Only the buffets compare, but they arent nearly as clean! I have been here a few times, and really don't ever plan on going anywhere else. (Pictures vary, as they are from the last few times I came here.)
