Customer reviews for Wok & Roll present a somewhat contrasting view of the establishment. One reviewer shared a negative experience regarding the service received on their third visit. They mentioned positive experiences during their first two visits a few months prior, noting that a particular lady was very nice and the food and prices were good. However, on their most recent visit, they described an encounter with an Asian lady who they felt discriminated against them, also being Asian. The reviewer perceived unfriendly behavior, a lack of welcome, and an angry demeanor from this staff member. They contrasted this with the warm and polite service they observed being given to a non-Asian male customer who arrived after them. This experience led the reviewer to believe they were treated poorly due to their ethnicity and prompted them to share their negative experience with their non-Asian coworkers in the area. They also provided a distinguishing detail about the staff member involved, mentioning she wears red long hair.
In contrast, another reviewer had a significantly positive experience at Wok & Roll. They noted that the restaurant is located in the back, behind two fast-food establishments. This reviewer mentioned that Wok & Roll reminded them of an older restaurant with a similar name in the 92870 area. They praised the "great tasting food" and the "quick friendly service." They also highlighted that all the food, including items in the display, tasted freshly made and commended the "super friendly staff." This reviewer also pointed out the "big portions," "tender meats," "tasty Wonton soup," and "delicious egg rolls." They specifically mentioned that the rice and chow mein tasted "really good & freshly made." An interesting feature they noted was a wall displaying customized special orders that looked "yummy." Overall, this reviewer strongly recommended Wok & Roll to anyone seeking a great-tasting Chinese food restaurant.
As a Chinese restaurant, Wok & Roll likely offers a range of classic dishes associated with this cuisine. Based on the positive review, these include wonton soup, egg rolls, rice, and chow mein. The mention of "tender meats" suggests that their meat-based entrees are also noteworthy. The "customized special orders" displayed on a wall hint at a willingness to cater to specific customer preferences or perhaps offer unique, off-menu items that are popular with regulars. The fact that food in the display tasted freshly made is also a positive indicator of their food preparation practices.
Information regarding the environment of Wok & Roll is somewhat limited. The positive reviewer mentioned it being "tucked in the back behind 2 fast foods," which suggests a possibly less prominent or perhaps a more casual location. However, they did not provide details about the interior ambiance. The negative review does not comment on the environment. To get a better sense of the restaurant's atmosphere, one might need to look for additional online reviews or photos, or potentially visit the location.
In terms of services, Wok & Roll clearly offers dine-in and takeout options, as suggested by both reviews. The positive reviewer dined in and mentioned the friendly service, while the negative reviewer's experience also occurred on-site. The quick service noted by the positive reviewer implies efficiency in handling orders, whether for dining in or taking away. The availability of delivery services is not mentioned in either review, so it would be advisable to contact the restaurant directly to inquire about this option.
Features of Wok & Roll that emerge from the positive review include the great-tasting and freshly made food, the quick and friendly service (at least with some staff), the big portions, and the potentially unique customized special orders. The mention of tender meats and tasty wonton soup and egg rolls also highlights specific dishes that are well-received. However, the negative review points to a significant issue with inconsistent service, including alleged discriminatory behavior by at least one staff member. This inconsistency in service quality is a crucial point to consider.
No specific promotional information is provided in the given reviews. It is common for restaurants to offer various promotions, such as lunch specials, combination meals, or discounts on certain days. To find out if Wok & Roll is currently running any specials or promotions, local residents should check local advertising, online platforms, or contact the restaurant directly.
In conclusion, Wok & Roll in Fullerton offers Chinese cuisine with both dine-in and takeout services. While one reviewer praised the great-tasting, freshly made food, quick friendly service, and generous portions, another reported a deeply concerning experience of alleged discriminatory treatment by a staff member. This stark contrast in experiences suggests potential inconsistencies in service quality. Potential customers may want to consider these differing viewpoints when deciding whether to patronize Wok & Roll. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on their menu, services, and any current promotions, it is recommended to contact the restaurant directly at (714) 626-8899 or +1 714-626-8899.

Customer Reviews
I went there three times. The first two times a few months ago, a lady was very nice and food and prices is good. Then I come back, this time a Asian lady discriminated with Asian. She seems like very hate to service for me and not friendly at all. All the bad attitudes on her face. Not expect say welcome but all angry face on her. After me a non Asian men came, she loudly saying” HELLO” happy expected. Then ask him nicely , and say thank you. For me nothing only terrible service and face. The reason that I o my thought is I am Asian! okay, I worked around here I will tell my coworkers all non Asian how this place. I hope the boss say this the women wears red long hair.
Tucked in the back behind 2 fast foods, found this Chinese restaurant. Wok n Roll reminds me of an old restaurant that had similar name in the 92870 area. Great tasting food, quick friendly service. All the food tastes freshly made, even the ones in the display. Super friendly staff! Big portions, tender meats, tasty Wonton soup. Delicious egg rolls. Rice & chow mein taste really good & freshly made. They even have a wall with customized special orders, they look yummy! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great tasting Chinese food restaurant.
No clue how this Place is still in Business. You Choose 1 Thing and the Lady Forces you to get another. I asked her for a Small Side & she pulled out a Bowl and said u get bowl better. Like nah I Never asked for that & You Dont wanna be an A-Hole to her. Food is Not even Good. Never again Breh. Ho Ho China on Whittier Blvd & Beach blvd is 10000% Better. BYE
Both of the chicken taste exactly the same, chown mein and vegetables were saggy, the lady who charge the money was on a bad mood or maybe it was one of those days XD …. The “good” thing it’s that they fill up the plates up to the top, other than that it’s the same price as Panda Express
The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, which is why I'm giving this place two stars. However, the food was disappointing. The chicken had a very strange taste, and the chow mein didn't taste right either. It makes me question the cleanliness and quality of the food. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place. I hope they can improve in the future.
