About WOK & ROLL Chinese and Sushi Restaurant

While WOK & ROLL Chinese and Sushi Restaurant is located at 3702 Cypress Creek Pkwy G, Houston, TX 77068, USA, let's provide an overview for local users in Singapore interested in restaurants that offer a combination of Chinese and Japanese (sushi) cuisine. Based on recent customer feedback, WOK & ROLL presents a mixed experience with both positive and negative aspects.

One diner who visited for lunch found the service and atmosphere to be great, with good food portions and normal pricing. However, they noted that the taste of some dishes was "a little off." Specifically, the hot and sour soup was described as having sugar in it, deviating from the expected hot and sour flavor profile. The egg roll was considered "ok" but potentially a pre-made frozen item and somewhat bland. The chicken and vegetables in white sauce were temperature hot and the chicken was tender, but the flavor was again described as "bland." Despite these criticisms, this reviewer mentioned they would try the restaurant again, partly due to the complimentary fried noodles served before the soup, which they appreciated as a "nice touch" that many Chinese restaurants no longer offer.

In contrast, another customer who was new to the Spring area had a very positive first experience, describing the food as "delicious" and "hit the SPOT!" They found it affordable for three people and were impressed by the wide variety of both Chinese food and sushi available on the menu. The service was highlighted as "amazing," with specific mention of Usen and Jessie who were attentive to their son's egg allergy, consistently informing them about egg-containing ingredients and offering suitable alternatives or substitutions. This positive reviewer highly recommends the restaurant to those living in the area.

For users in Singapore looking for a restaurant that combines Chinese and Japanese cuisine, WOK & ROLL seems to offer a broad menu and commendable service, particularly regarding allergy awareness. However, there's a mention of some dishes lacking strong flavor and a deviation from traditional hot and sour soup. The complimentary fried noodles are a noted positive. When considering similar options in Singapore, it might be beneficial to look for restaurants with diverse menus, attentive service (especially if allergies are a concern), and consistently positive feedback on the flavor profiles of their dishes.

Stop by for lunch and it was ok, service and atmosphere was great, food portions was good, price is normal however the taste is little off. 1 hot & sour soup had sugar in it, real hot & sour should be hot and sour so for me that won’t do but the soup came out hot . 2 the egg roll was ok, little blend on the side and if I’m guessing that world be frozen package not made fresh. 3 had the chicken and vegetables in white sauce. Food was temperature hot and the chicken is very tender but again its flavor is blend. Over all it was not bad would I come back again yes I would try again. Also when I got serve before the soup, they provide fried noodle and that is why I give a 4 star, that one star made the difference and it was a nice touch. Many Chinese restaurants don’t provide that anymore.

Hey everyone, this was my first time trying this spot since moving to the Spring area and I must say….. It was delicious and hit the SPOT! It was affordable for 3 people, they have a wide variety of Chinese food and sushi to choose from on their menu. Service was amazing, my Son has an egg allergy and Usen and Jessie always kept coming back and informing us what had egg in it and even offered options that didn’t have eggs or items to substitute. Highly recommend if you live in the area.

The food is consistently good and service too until I asked for a large container for leftover Ramen and had to insist on a large plastic container instead of 2 small Styrofoams.
