About Wok N Roll

Welcome to Wok N Roll, a Chinese Restaurant situated at 275 Munson Ave, Morristown, VT 05661, USA. As a Chinese Restaurant serving the Morristown area, Wok N Roll offers a menu of what is described as typical American-Chinese fare. They can be contacted at (802) 888-8833 or +1 802-888-8833 for inquiries or to place orders.

Based on recent customer reviews, the experience at Wok N Roll appears to be somewhat varied. One customer expressed significant disappointment with their meal, specifically citing the beef and broccoli dish as flavorless and noting that the beef had a boiled, rather than seared, texture, making it chewy and unappetizing. The sauce was also described as lacking in flavor, requiring a substantial amount of soy sauce to become palatable. Additionally, this reviewer mentioned that the oil used for fried foods seemed old, negatively impacting the taste. On a more positive note, this customer found the staff to be pleasant, the egg drop soup decent, and the white rice acceptable.

Another reviewer offered a more moderate perspective, stating that Wok N Roll is neither significantly better nor worse than other American-Chinese restaurants in the vicinity. They noted that the food and menu are generally similar to those found at other such establishments, with some dishes being better than others. This suggests a degree of consistency with the typical offerings in this category of cuisine within the local area. This reviewer recommended that individuals try the food themselves to form their own opinion.

Regarding the environment of Wok N Roll, neither review provides specific details about the ambiance or decor of the restaurant. Therefore, information about whether it offers a casual or more formal dining setting, the cleanliness of the premises, or its overall aesthetic is currently unavailable. Local users interested in dining in may wish to visit the location to assess the environment for themselves.

In terms of services, Wok N Roll undoubtedly offers takeout, as indicated by one reviewer's comment about "takeout Chinese." It is also plausible that they offer dine-in services, although this is not explicitly confirmed in the provided reviews. Delivery services are not mentioned in the feedback, so local users would need to inquire directly with the restaurant about this option. Information regarding online ordering, catering services, or other specific service features is not available in the current reviews.

One notable feature mentioned in a review is a significant issue with the accuracy of their online menu. A customer reported that the online menu was likely outdated by about two years, with prices being $1 to $4 higher per dish than listed online. This discrepancy between the online information and the actual pricing at the restaurant is a significant point for potential customers to be aware of, especially if they are using the online menu to budget their order. It suggests a need for the restaurant to update their online presence to accurately reflect their current offerings and prices.

The staff at Wok N Roll are described as "pleasant" by one reviewer and "nice" by another. While one reviewer noted that the customer service was not "excellent," they also acknowledged that exceptional customer service is not typically expected in a takeout Chinese restaurant setting and that their expectations were met without any negative experiences. This suggests that while the service may be adequate and the staff friendly, it might not be a standout feature of the establishment.

No specific promotional information, such as discounts, special offers, or loyalty programs, is mentioned in the provided customer reviews. Therefore, it is not possible to provide any details about current promotions at Wok N Roll based on this information alone. Local users interested in potential deals or specials should contact the restaurant directly or inquire when placing an order.

In summary, Wok N Roll in Morristown, VT, offers typical American-Chinese cuisine with both takeout and likely dine-in options. Customer experiences appear to vary, with some expressing disappointment in the flavor and preparation of certain dishes, while others find it comparable to other similar establishments in the area. The staff is generally regarded as pleasant. A significant point of concern is the outdated online menu with incorrect pricing. Local users considering Wok N Roll should be aware of this potential discrepancy and may want to inquire about current prices when ordering. For those seeking standard American-Chinese fare in Morristown, Wok N Roll is an option to consider, keeping in mind the mixed reviews regarding food quality and the issue with the online menu.

For local residents and visitors in Morristown, VT, Wok N Roll provides a local choice for Chinese food. Given the feedback, it might be prudent to inquire about the preparation methods and freshness of ingredients when ordering specific dishes. The pleasantness of the staff is a noted positive aspect. However, the outdated online menu is a significant drawback for those relying on online information for their decisions. Ultimately, trying Wok N Roll may be the best way for individuals to determine if it meets their expectations for American-Chinese cuisine in the area.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our food at Wok n Roll. Not only was the beef and broccoli flavorless but the beef tasted like it was boiled and not seared like it should be when you are cooking in a wok. It was very chewy and unfortunately was not good. The sauce was so lacking in flavor I needed to use tablespoon after tablespoon of soy sauce to make it palatable. The oil that our fried food was cooked in unfortunately did not seem fresh and tasted like it hasn't been changed in a while. On the positive side, the staff were pleasant and the egg drop soup was decent and the white rice was acceptable. I am sad to be writing this considering how we do enjoy Chinese food, just wasn't worth the price.

No better and not too much worse than typical American-Chinese fare around these parts. Generally, the food and menu are carbon copies of other places. Some dishes are better than others. Just gotta test it out for yourself. Staff are nice. I wouldn’t say the customer service is excellent, but takeout Chinese isn’t generally the venue for that, so it met my expectations and I haven’t had any negative experiences. My biggest complaint is that their online menu is probably two years out of date. Prices have gone up by anywhere from $1-$4 per dish. So be prepared to pay more than expected if you’re researching the place online.

Love Wok N Roll!! They have the best food 😋 and they are so nice !! I like to think of them as friends not just another fast food restaurant, they double check and make sure everything your going to want is in the bag. They are also the only ones that didn't jack up the prices during the pandemic!! Really do recommend them!! No other restaurant compairs!! They are the best 👌❤ in my opinion

Beef lo mien- sour flavor, Boneless ribs - dry, charred crunchy blackened, chx fingers - rubbery dry chicken with wad of goopy dough, general Tso's -chicken hard stale and then soaked in sauce, pork fried rice give it a 3... maybe hit or miss? This place used to be 5 stars, not sure if there are new people running it or if maybe they had to change suppliers do to the pandemic, but was not a fan. Only good thing we got was the chicken fingers. The rice was super bland, spare ribs had like no sauce/flavor.
