The crispy beef was tantalizing and amazing perfectly crispy and crunchy outside yet soft beef. We got the sesame chicken as well which was amazing and flavorful and correctly cooked. Food tasted fresh and amazing service from waiter. One entree is good for 2 people. Have to order noodles and rice separately but that also is good for 2 people. The soup was a bit hearthy but didn’t skimp on quantity. We went with Hotter for the sesame if you are a fan of spice that is a good level but prefer less of a kick go below.

We were craving gyoza and decided to try a new spot - what a wonderful surprise! The food is authentic, made fresh to order, and absolutely delicious. We especially loved the lollipops, fried rice, and Mongolian beef. And dessert presentation was over the top! I hope W&K finds success and is an option for us for a long time to come!

I’ve been to Wok & Karahi twice during my trips to Houston, and both times were amazing. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the place has a nice vibe. During Ramadan, they even offered a free iftaar with onion pakoras, Chicken 65 (so good!), and mango lassi. Everything was fresh and tasty. We ordered the haleem, and my son loved it so much he couldn’t stop eating it. The Chicken Lollipop was fantastic, and the Crispy Beef is a must-try—it’s crispy, flavorful, and just perfect. On my first trip, we tried their Desi food, and it was really good too. The food comes out fast, and everything is nicely presented. The owner even came over to check on us, which was a nice touch. The best part? The food is halal, so you can enjoy everything without any worries. The staff is super friendly, and the restaurant looks great inside—clean and well-decorated. I’ll definitely be coming back here whenever I’m in Houston. If you’re looking for tasty halal food in a welcoming environment, Wok & Karahi is the place to go!

Looking for a new Halal place ? Try this place. Was googling Biryani and this place came up with good reviews so ofcourse I had to try it. The place seems to be opened recently as the place didn’t have a proper LED sign rather a banner with some lights on top. The decor gave a mixed vibe with Chinese decor and basic seating options. The menu is huge which was confusing as there were Pakistani, Indian and Chinese dishes. Everything is self order and self pay from the app so basically no need for any service staff except for when you need something. I was pretty disappointed by the fact that the items listed on their website through which to order had no description at all and we had to flag the owner a few times to describe what the ingredients etc were. We ordered Chicken corn soup, hot and sour soup, crispy beef appetizer and Goat biryani. Soups were hot and pretty good (we had to add a lot of hot sauce etc to it). We were also given crackers as complimentary appetizers which was good. The restaurant wasn’t too busy so the food came out fairly quick. The crispy beef was a bit more saltier than we would have preferred but it was a decent appetizer. The bullet naan was soo yummy! Goat biryani was delicious and Pakistani style. The meat portions were very generous and you can see in one of the pictures that even after me and my husband ate, the rice was pretty much gone and we were left with meat pieces. We had ordered a spice level 4 but we found it to be not spicy at all so the owner was very kind to send it back to the kitchen to get more spices added and also got us some white rice on the side in case we wanted to mix it. Raita was very sweet for us so that was a no no for us. We will definitely be back to try out more items. The owner is very friendly however I did feel that he was giving much more attention to the non desi customers by going on their tables and asking if they needed anything or how the food was etc. We had to go get our to-go boxes ourselves too as no one attended our table. I get the self service thing however a good service interaction adds highly to the overall dining experience. Since we all are customers, equal attention will keep everyone happy and keep coming back. All in all, good to have a nice Halal restaurant opening up on the north side. I do wish management acts upon the few suggestions listed above : adding description to the menu items, service equality etc.

Awesome place! This time around we ordered the veggie Manchurian (maybe the best appetizer you can find anywhere) and the chicken 65. The chicken 65 itself is a bit different from traditional chicken 65 I have had at other south Asian restaurants - but it still good nonetheless. Entrees pictured are the saag paneer and spicy chongqing; which we enjoyed as well. For dessert the Lava cake is top tier as well. Overall the Manchurian and Lava cake are must haves!
