Customer Reviews
Okay, we tend to be connoisseurs of food. I’m talking real foodies! Don’t let the looks of this place fool you because It checked the boxes for us. We kind use a sliding scale on the places we eat. Friendliness/kindness/service, price of food, the quality of food, the quantity of food and how fresh the food appears to be.let me say that the food was burning my leg on our way back to the hotel we are staying at. The service was amazing, I was not sure if the food was going to be good but, was pleasantly surprised. The photo shows the food after 2 of us got done tasting everything, so the quantity is outstanding. Lastly one could easily feed a family of 4 under $30. The greatest part is that it’s served in front of you and you may try before you buy. This place is a must stop by if your ever on base or in Tacoma Washington.
I think we found our FAV Chinese food spot tonight! My family of 3 got the Family combo #1. We tried the beef and broccoli, teriyaki chicken, beef bulgogi, and honey sesame chicken. We chose egg rice as the side. It was all so yummy! A great deal with nice food portions (we have leftovers). Everyone who worked there was so sweet.
The breaded meat was mostly if not all bread for the Honey chicken. The Teriyaki needs a lot of work and has potatoes in it maybe as a filler, which took my kids for a shock and they spit out immediately. The place was clean food was covered and the people working is nice but if I’m paying money I would like to be able to eat what I ordered without having a surprise THIS AINT MEAT BITE.
The chicken egg roll was old, cold and somehow both overdone and undercooked. The outside was overdone and the inside was still raw. The fried rice is flavourless. The orange chicken tastes okay but lacks crunch. The beef broccoli tastes nice and the walnut shrimp is okay, not worth the up-charge. Overall I wouldn't go back here everything was overpriced. I'm new to the area and still looking for good takeout Chinese food. This place isn't it. If you know of a better place please suggest. Thank you.
It is basically a more authentic versian of Panda Express. The guy running the place was really friendly. The food was delicious. My kids really liked the rice. The egg flower soup is really good also.
