About Wing China

Welcome to Wing China, a local establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category, situated at 9 Bellevue Park Plaza in Belleville, Illinois. While the name might suggest a specialization in chicken wings, Wing China likely offers a broader menu of Chinese-American dishes, catering to the local community seeking convenient takeout options. It is important to consider the contrasting recent customer feedback when evaluating the offerings and quality of this restaurant.

Information regarding the specific environment of Wing China is not detailed in the provided reviews. Typically, Chinese restaurants that focus on takeout services often feature a functional space designed for order placement and efficient food preparation. Customers can likely expect a counter area for placing orders and waiting for their food. The reviews do not provide any insights into the presence or ambiance of a dine-in area. To gain a better understanding of the restaurant's environment, contacting them directly or visiting the location might be necessary.

Wing China primarily operates as a takeout restaurant, serving customers who wish to enjoy their meals off-premises. You can place orders by calling (618) 233-6888 or +1 618-233-6888. The name "Wing China" suggests that chicken wings might be a featured item, and one reviewer supports this, stating that the place "probably has some of the best wings in the area" and highlighting the "hot Braise flavor" as a favorite. This positive feedback indicates that the wings could be a significant draw for some customers, potentially representing a unique feature within their Chinese restaurant offerings. However, another recent review presents a starkly contrasting view of the wings, describing them as "dry and old" and alleging that they are pre-cooked and simply reheated in a fryer before being sauced. This suggests a potential inconsistency in food preparation or quality.

As a Chinese restaurant, Wing China likely offers a standard menu of Chinese-American dishes in addition to their chicken wings. Based on the negative review, fried rice is also on the menu and was described as "horrible." This suggests that the quality of other traditional Chinese dishes might also be a concern for some customers. While the positive review focuses solely on the wings, the negative review encompasses both the wings and the fried rice, indicating potential issues across different menu items. To obtain a comprehensive understanding of their complete menu and any other specialty dishes they might offer, contacting the restaurant directly would be the most informative approach. However, potential customers should be aware of the conflicting recent reviews regarding the quality of their food.

The customer reviews for Wing China present a significant dichotomy. One reviewer offers high praise for the chicken wings, suggesting they are a "hidden secret" and particularly enjoying the "hot Braise flavor." This positive feedback indicates that, at least for some customers, the wings are a standout item and a reason to patronize the establishment. However, the other recent review provides a strongly negative assessment of both the wings and the fried rice. This reviewer describes the wings as "dry and old," alleging a practice of pre-cooking and reheating, resulting in "the hardest wings" they had ever had. They also strongly discourage others from ordering the fried rice, labeling it as "horrible" and advising against wasting money at Wing China. This stark contrast in feedback suggests a potential inconsistency in food quality or preparation methods. Potential customers should weigh these conflicting opinions when considering Wing China.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Wing China based on the provided reviews. Restaurants often use promotions to highlight popular items or attract new customers. In this case, the positive review of the wings could potentially serve as a form of promotion, suggesting a specialty that might appeal to wing enthusiasts. However, the strongly negative review might counteract any positive perception. To inquire about any potential daily specials, lunch deals, or other promotions that Wing China might be offering, it is recommended to contact the restaurant directly at the provided phone number. However, given the conflicting feedback on food quality, potential customers might prioritize addressing these concerns before inquiring about promotions.

In conclusion, Wing China in Belleville, IL, operates within the Chinese Restaurant category and appears to specialize, at least in part, in chicken wings. While one customer enthusiastically recommends their wings, particularly the hot Braise flavor, another recent review strongly criticizes both the wings and the fried rice, citing issues with dryness, age, and preparation methods. This significant contradiction in customer experiences suggests potential inconsistencies in food quality. Potential customers should carefully consider these recent and opposing views when deciding whether to patronize Wing China. For more details about their menu, services, or any current promotions, contacting the restaurant directly at (618) 233-6888 is recommended, keeping in mind the mixed recent feedback on their food.

Food was horrible. Wings are dry and old!! All they do is throw the wings back in fryer when you order and put them into sauce. They are not cooked to order they pre cook the wings and just drop them in fryer once they have an order. The hardest wings I have had in my life because they are old wings. Fried rice is horrible don’t you waste your money here.

I love wing china's different variety of combination plates. You can substitute just about anything you want and get just what you want. My only complaint is the fried rice. It looks so delicious when they bring it out and show you your plate, but when you get it home it doesn't taste like it looks. It is definitely missing some flavoring, sesame oil or something πŸ˜•. But the lomein is to die for and I loved my hot braised chicken wings!

Updated to take out only. Still great πŸ‘. Get the Honey Garlic Pepper wings. WATCH OUT FOR THEIR PRICES. Menu does not have current prices, they are charging more than whats listed on the menu. You may want to ask HOW MUCH before you order.
