Wicked Tea Cafe

This is a tough review to write. I always keep my reviews real for my integrity. This review is from a single trip. The staff were very friendly. There was multiple people that had their food there. I believe there was 6-7 tables. One long one. Half had boxes on them. I didn't mind sitting next to the box if it was a hidden gem. I had the shrimp with lobster sauce combo with a chicken wing and rice. I also had a lychee boba tea. The lobster sauce came out, it was lighter in color than most. No big deal, it taste that matters. I had a single bite and it was bad. My stomach even growled at me. I tried a shrimp. It was extremely overcooked, rubbery and almost mealy. I tried one more bite and it wasn't happening. I can only think of one other time I thought the meal, it was that bad. The chicken wing looked promising. It was dry and just okay. The flavor of the lychee tea was good. The boba was thick and extra chewy. Not sure if I would go back.

We FINALLY found good Chinese takeout near our new house!!!! We stopped in for milk tea and decided to get a few snacks to bring home too and we’re so happy we did! Pan fried dumplings were FULL, crispy, and not doughy. The scallion pancakes were so crispy i couldn’t stop eating it. The ponzu given with it also was really good and tastes a little different and less salty than the ponzu we’re usually given at other places. We were also very happy to learn that they offer oolong on the weekends for the milk tea and I highly recommend trying as your base tea

My partner enjoyed the food, I have not enjoyed the fried rice, but the bubble tea and crab rangoon were good.

Wicked Tea is an absolute gem! Not only is this a tea shop carrying small batch Chinese teas that the owner gets directly from the small farms, but this is an amazing Chinese food restaurant. The owners wife is the sweetest hardworking lady from China and you can tell how much passion she has when tasting the food. Her HOMEMADE crab rangoons are simply amazing—crispy, flavorful, and unlike any other I've had. I will be thinking about these Rangoon until I can get my hands on them again. The egg rolls are also handmade and amazing. The shrimp and broccoli was delicious and a big portion. The vegetable lo main noodle was my favorite. We also had amazing eggplant, curry rice noodles, and scallion pancakes. All delicious! Before eating, we had traditional tea service with Ian the owner and tasted a wide variety of delicious and aromatic teas during the service. It was so interesting and Ian told us all about the different teas and how they are made and grown. The iced boba tea is another highlight, with perfect textures and delightful flavors, at least 10 different ones. We had the taro flavor that was lovely. We took home 2 bags of tea from the shop and a bag of snowy owl coffee which is roasted on Cape Cod. Everything is done with a lot care and everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fantastic tea and dining experience! They have takeout and delivery as well! ---

Amazing. 🤩 we went here specifically for the halal menu. They didn’t have halal beef but that was an issue with the vendor prices so I’m really hoping to eventually try that in the future. The food was cooked perfectly and it really hit the Chinese food spot. The workers were so friendly and we just felt super welcome. Thank you so much 😊
