Whit's Frozen Custard of Daphne

Best Ice cream(Frozen Custard) in the state! Why go to DQ when Whits exists?!? I would prefer the German chocolate cake Whitser. It was amazing totally recommend. The old town is also very good. You can’t go wrong here. You gotta eat here if you’re in Daphne.

Brandon and his crew know what's up. The custard is excellent all by itself. Then they add all kinds of creative flavor combos, like the red velvet cake, that make it way better than it already was. Be sure and stop in when you're in the area. They have a great spot with covered tables where you can relax and enjoy the wonderfulness they offer. We drove way out of our way to make a stop and we are glad we did. Thank you Brandon, you rock!

We went around 6:15 on a Friday night! Was able to find parking and not busy at all. However, as we were leaving it was definitely picking up and people were parking across the street. It was pretty good custard! Definitely not the best I’ve ever had (I prefer the firmness of Culver’s…this was a bit more on the liquid side). The draw of this place is definitely the customizations and different variety of custards. The staff was super nice and even gave us samples of their weekly sample, which was a bourbon pecan (delicious).

The frozen custard was good but they only have 2 flavors, chocolate and vanilla. You can get mix-ins, floats, shakes, sundays, toppings. Portion size is good. I would go back.

Wonderful experience! I'm reminded of the old tyme Pharmacy with a soda/Ice Cream fountain down in Fairhope. Service was prompt, considerate and accurate. Pleasantly surprised. Sitting outside eating my banana split and listening to oldies was a great time and enjoyable. I look forward to going back again the next time I'm in town.
