Weng's Express Asian Cuisine

I called in my order over the phone and when I arrived my food was ready. This is one of my favorite Asian restaurants to go to the service is always prompt and fast! The staff is friendly and helpful!

We came here the other day as a party of 4. The place is clean and has a chill atmosphere, it's a little bare inside with basically no pictures or wall decor which made it feel a little too much like a fast food chain. They offer pickup and drive thru which is nice. Despite being understaffed a server sat us down as soon as we entered. I will give along of credit to our server she was doing everything from serving us to cleaning tables and working the drive thru, I was impressed. Their menu had a good selection of food and the portions are rather generous and the price is reasonable. I had sweet and sour chicken and it was more Americanized than traditional. The chicken was a little under salted and the batter could have been crispier. Other than that it was okay. The fried rice was tasty. I would say all in all it is a good place to eat.

Food was great! I’m picky about my Chinese food but I was honestly impressed. The chicken fried rice was fire. The sweet and sour shrimp was fried to perfection. Our server was really cool and the overall vibe of the place is real nice. Definitely found a gem that we’ll be going back to often!

Four months later and this is still our go-to Chinese place. Always fresh, flavorful, great portions! 1/2023 Pepper steak and General Tso’s chicken are some of our go-to Chinese dishes. This was probably the first time the ratios of peppers and onions to meat have been comparable. The vegetables were all crisp and tasted fresh. Nothing seemed oily or old. My date enjoyed the garlic taste of meat. The chicken was breaded and crispy. It was delicious, but spicy. Fried rice was great. Quantity was perfect. Fast and friendly service. They were open for Thanksgiving, I’m sure they’ll be open for Christmas and New Year’s, as well. Would definitely go back for lunch specials.

Phenomenal. Everything was perfect 😁. I'm so grateful that we saw a sign on Eldridge, and that we decided to try it. We'll definitely visit again. We signed up for Rewards too. So happy that this new choice is in Cypress. Thank you so much.
