Customer reviews for Wei’s - Williamsburg present contrasting experiences between dine-in and takeout orders. One customer who seemingly dined in found the food to be "decent," enjoyed every dish ordered, and described the service as attentive. They also appreciated the ambiance, which they felt enhanced the overall experience, suggesting it's a good place if you are already in the area.
However, a customer who ordered takeout for the first time expressed significant disappointment, stating that their order was "extremely subpar," overpriced, and lacking in flavor and care for a to-go order, echoing other takeout reviews they had seen. They ordered the popular sesame chicken via Uber Eats but found it to be dry with no sauce and only one piece of broccoli. Despite requesting extra sauce, the food remained dry. This reviewer felt that the quality and value were much lower compared to local Chinese spots offering substantial portions for half the price and standard amounts of vegetables. They also noted a disparity between the appealing pictures of dine-in meals and the quality of their takeout, suggesting that dine-in orders receive more attention.
Based on this feedback, Wei’s - Williamsburg appears to offer a potentially pleasant dine-in experience with decent food and attentive service, complemented by a liked ambiance. However, the takeout experience seems to be significantly different, with complaints about overpriced, dry, and flavorless food with minimal portions of accompanying items. There is no information provided regarding any specific features of their delivery service or any current promotional offers.
Local users in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, considering Wei’s - Williamsburg for meal delivery should be aware of the reported inconsistencies in quality between dine-in and takeout orders, particularly regarding flavor, moisture, and portion sizes of accompanying items like broccoli.

Customer Reviews
Food was decent. I enjoyed every single dish we ordered. Service was attentive. I definitely liked the ambiance, which I think made the experience even better. That being said, it’s a good place if you are in the area already.
First time ordering from here and I expected more. Just like the other reviews that ordered takeout, my order was extremely subpar! Not only is it overpriced but it lacks flavor, and care for a to-go order. I got the sesame chicken because it was labeled as popular on Uber eats…idk how but my food was DRY, no sauce that the chicken was cooked in and there was one lovely cute broccoli on top..ONE. I even asked for extra sauce from cooking to be added in when packaging up the chicken; still received dry food. I was better off going to one of the regular local Chinese spots up the block where the food is made with care and it’s substantial for HALF the price I paid at Wei’s. And they at least add a regular amount of broccoli because that’s standard. Seems like they need to treat their take out orders with the same love and care they use for guests that dine in; those dine-in meal pics actually look appetizing. The pictures are literally night and day!
Pork soup dumplings absolutely terrible! The meat looks and tastes very unappetizing. The dumplings came all exploded and the dough wasn’t fully cooked and too thick for a soup dumpling. I just spent $45 on 2 apps and a meal and I could tell you I would NEVER come back here again. I expected for at least a $15-20 lo mein it would be served in a larger container. The lo mein did taste okay but I’ve had better. The spring rolls were only 2 and they were soggy as if they were sitting out for a while. The only thing I could say was really good was their diet cola but of course they didn’t make that so it explains it.
Amazing soup dumplings and noodle soups (at a great price too!). The decorations are so cute and overall a great experience. It was very quick service and the cocktails looks so cute! It’s kind of in a weird location but definitely check it out. The only bad thing I could say is that some of my soup dumplings cracked and let out the soup before picking it up from the steam container.
Salt & pepper shrimp was so well seasoned & crisped perfectly, not overly battered. Get the pork soup dumplings for sure! Shrimp dumplings were nice, only thing is they were just a tad bit overly steamed, nonetheless tasty! Get the (veggie) fried rice ! It was so so fresh omg I’ll for sure be back. Cocktails: puka puka & lyn mae SO good! Also shoutout to the lovely hostess with the pixie cut
