Wazuzu

My visit to Wazuzu was nothing short of extraordinary! The restaurant has a stunning atmosphere that perfectly blends modern elegance with a welcoming vibe. Every dish I tried was a masterpiece—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully crafted. The attention to detail in both the food and presentation was truly impressive. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring a memorable dining experience. They made me feel well taken care of without being intrusive. Wazuzu is a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional culinary journey. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their incredible menu. Thank you, Wazuzu, for an unforgettable evening!

Absolutely Disgusting. Ordered the Thai Chicken Salad. The only flavor is ginger. Portion was ridiculously small for over $22. There was no chicken in my "chicken" salad. Everything was soggy and gross. Literally inedible. The wonton soup had shrimp wonton, which I don't remember seeing on the menu. This might have been OK, but the shrimp were not de-veined and the flavor was extremely distasteful. Soup was not even lukewarm despite me arriving less than 5 minutes after my text that the food was ready arrived. I spent $45 on dinner and literally had to throw it all away and eat a Kind bar for dinner because the food was not even edible. Extremely disappointing.

Wazuzu at the Encore is easily one of the most exceptional dining spots in Las Vegas. I’ve been here many times, and it consistently delivers on every level—flavor, presentation, and service. The Wagyu Fried Rice is my personal go-to and an absolute standout. It’s not just delicious—it’s precision-crafted. Perfectly seared wagyu, layered over beautifully seasoned rice, plated with care and detail. The flavor is deep, savory, and unforgettable. On my most recent visit, I tried the Mandarin Mousse dessert (photo included), and it blew me away. It looked like a piece of edible art and tasted even better—bright, balanced, and expertly executed. Service is top-tier: friendly, knowledgeable, and on point without being overbearing. The ambiance is modern, refined, and anchored by the stunning crystal dragon that spans the dining room—an iconic backdrop to an elite experience. Whether you’re a Vegas local or just visiting, Wazuzu is a must. If you appreciate world-class food, stellar service, and bold flavors done right, this place will absolutely deliver.

After much high praise from a friend by the name of Eddy, who is a consistent patron of this establishment, I was finally able to attend dinner myself. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anybody in the Las Vegas area! As for drinks, I had the "Land of Smiles" cocktail. It was very enjoyable from the presentation alone to the refreshing, and fruity taste to a whiskey and bourbon drink. I tend to like my alcohol stronger, this drink was very delightful and not crazy sweet like these drinks tend to be. For Appetizer, I had the "Pan Fried Soup Dumplings" with pork, shrimp, and cabbage as recommended by the waiter. The outside of this soup dumpling was crispy on the edges and soft and tender on the inside. It was amazing! The black pepper broth was so flavorful as well as the pork inside. Highly recommend. For the main course I tried the "Drunken Noodles with Shrimp" and the Panang Curry. The noodles were wonderfully soft and tender with nice spice and juicy shrimp that complimented their sauce wonderfully. The Curry was itself absolutely amazing with a subtle spice and fresh greens to compliment and mix with chicken and curry sauce. The bread served with this dish has a very slight sweetness in the back of the flavor profile that wonderfully compliments the spice of the jalapenos and the faint sweetness of the coconut curry sauce. I wish rice came with it instead of needing to order it on the side but either way it is not a necessity, more of a personal preference. For dessert, the "Pineapple Vanilla Soft Serve". After seeing someone else with it, The presentation alone drew me to get it myself. On top of the soft serve sit small lime cookie squares that are amazing with this sorbet. Perfectly semi-sweet without being a dry inconvenience for an ice cream topping. In addition are refreshing pineapple chunks that fall apart in your mouth. Overall an incredibly high recommendation. As for service, the waiter himself was very helpful in helping us choose what to eat, as well as making sure our water was always filled and offered a refill on my drink all the time! Aesthetically, this restaurant both inside and out have an appealing flashy yet elegant Asian influenced decor and architecture. Definitely photo worthy!

This restaurant is beautiful! We stopped in on a whim and were blown away. The service was prompt and every dish we tried was true to the menu description and delicious. I didn’t photograph everything my party of 3 ordered and devoured… but my son said it was the best ramen he’d ever had. ;-)
