Customer Reviews
The first time I tried this place, I dined in. The sesame chicken with rice was delicious--perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, nice texture, very flavorful--and they gave me a big portion, so I had some leftover for lunch the next day. The second time, I tried the beef noodles and took it to-go because they were packed. That was also good. The place is small inside, not a lot of seating, but the food is fantastic.
Ordered 2 beef noodle soup with a pork burger. Mine is hand shaved and my wife's thin noodle. Loved the noodle and it reminds me of Xi'an famous noodle at NYC which is awesome. I like the texture of the noodle so much. Both Pork burger was not great so wouldn't order again. Pretty plain and unremarkable
The service at this restaurant is entirely self-serve, similar to fast-food chains like McDonald’s and KFC. You even need to clear your own dishes and place them in the designated cleaning area by the entrance. 3 Stars for the beef pull noodles. They taste quite good, although they aren’t spicy despite the chili symbol on the menu. The hand shaved noodles have a good texture. I like the ones that are thicker and harder, and won't get softened by the soaking. However, the water pan-fried pork was quite disappointing. They tasted very different from what I expected. It seemed like they were made from frozen buns available at the supermarket, steamed, and then lightly pan-fried. Shockingly, they had a sweet taste, which was quite off-putting. I wasn’t expecting them to be as authentic as the noodles, but this felt like a letdown. Some of the chefs were speaking Chinese, which I thought would be a good experience. For now, I’ll only be there when I want to eat noodles.
Went here with the family for dinner and ordered beef pulled noodle soup, fried rice with shrimp, and pork and chive dumplings. All were pretty good, especially the dumplings. Not bad for Chinese food in the area. Guests are expected to clean up after themselves, so it was a little bit messy in there.
Noodles taste good. Hygiene may be a problem. Found a few lashes/eyebrows in the soup. It’s cold winter but there are still some bugs (looks like baby flies) flying around in the restaurant, staying on our bowls, really gross. We regret tipping. No service. You make order yourself, fetch the food yourself, and clean the table yourself.
