One reviewer specifically noted the friendliness of the woman working there, who has been a part of the establishment since 1985, suggesting a long-standing presence and a personal touch in the service. The menu at Wang Wah boasts a "huge variety," indicating a wide selection of dishes beyond the specific ones mentioned in the reviews. This likely includes various types of fried rice, chow mein, noodle dishes, meat and poultry entrees, seafood options, and soups. The mention of a memorable soup ("this incredible soup I forget the name of") suggests that there might be signature or particularly well-regarded items beyond the standard fare. The willingness of customers to return and explore more of the menu further underscores the breadth and appeal of their offerings.

We accidentally found this place on Ocean Ave. It has a different name out front and kind of looks like a Chinese restaurant from decades ago. But the woman working there was friendly (she's been at it since 1985) and it's veg-friendly, so I gave it a go. The food was served fast and hot, the portions were huge (we took home for another meal), and it was delicious (kung pao tofu and friend green beans). I'm eager to go back to try more veg dishes!

Huge variety on the menu, but the basics and my favorites like BBQ Pork Fried Rice, BBQ Pork Chow Mein, Broccoli Beef, and this incredible soup I forget the name of are all delicious and well made. The portions are very generous the couple who own the place are incredibly friendly. Looking forward to trying out more of the things on the menu. Highly recommended if you're in this part of the neighborhood.

The best mom and pops Chinese food in the city. They've been open since 35 years ago. I've been coming here for 35 years since I was little girl with my great grandma. I remember when their parents ran that restaurant. The freshest and the best. Thank you mama and chief. :-)

It took them ten minutes and 3 people to understand I just wanted an order of veggie potstickers. 10 to 15 minutes they said turned into a half hour. 20 minutes in they said it would only be 2 more minutes. I had ordered my Uber since they said that and 10 minutes later my ride was there the food still wasn't ready and I left pissed and hungry. Don't waste your time no one who's not Chinese goes there anyways probably because you have to speak Chinese for them to even understand what you want!!!
