Customer Reviews
Old school New England Chinese food. The restaurant is on the narrow main st in Fairhaven. There's parking in the front and side. Interior was clean , and older Asian decor gave it a cozy feeling. The waitress was friendly and was great at her job. The menu has all of your favorites with plenty of luncheon specials and combination plates. Bonus, you get tea with your meal. The shrimp with lobster sauce was exceptional with complex flavors with a hint of garlic and maybe molasses. The Hot and Sour Soup was sweet but had a flavor I was drawn to. The Egg Roll wasn't bad but lacked flavor. Overall, it was a nice old school Chinese food experience. I would definitely recommend it.
I just got take from what used to be my favorite Chinese Food Restaurant in the area Not so anymore Chicken wings were small only four dried out small scoop of fried rice nothing was the same I know a lot of people in the new bedford fairhaven area that think that it's gone down hill. So sad used to love that place
In the past decade or so, very pleased with the food. Over the years, it has lost a lot of its vibrancy and care of precision to taste and ingredients. Sauces have lost flavor and the cook of the food has been overdone. Even after making comments, food has declined. Tonight’s takeout, was the worst. Our large appetizers of Hot and sour soup, not (spicy) hot nor sour. Very nasty taste so I had to throw it away. And the large egg drop was more like dish water and again, down the drain. Dinners, very lack luster and disappointing. I am very disappointed and dislike giving negative reviews, but food is not cheap and inedible is such a total waste. Goodbye Wah May Wish more attention was provided to all your customers.
I'm from Connecticut and I've never found a better fried rice anywhere. The hot and sour soup was over the top. I'll be back for sure
This place has been around since I was a child and the food is just as good as ever. I would love to go back there some time and enjoy my old favorites.
