About wah house chinese restaurant

Welcome to the online introduction of Wah House Chinese Restaurant, located at 1276 N Military Trl, West Palm Beach, FL 33409, USA. As a local establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category, Wah House aims to provide Chinese culinary options to the West Palm Beach community and surrounding areas. They can be contacted directly at (561) 682-1689 or +1 561-682-1689 for inquiries or to place an order.

Wah House Chinese Restaurant operates as a physical restaurant where customers can likely dine in. Additionally, it is common for such establishments to offer takeout services, allowing patrons to enjoy their meals at their convenience. While one review does not explicitly mention delivery, it is a service often provided by Chinese restaurants, so local users interested in delivery should contact Wah House directly to inquire about their delivery area and any associated terms or fees.

To gain a comprehensive understanding of the dining experience at Wah House Chinese Restaurant, it is essential to consider the recent feedback provided by customers in their online reviews. These firsthand accounts offer varying perspectives that local users should take into account.

One highly positive review praises Wah House for having "the best food in the area." The customer also described the people as "great" and noted that it is a "family owned" establishment with a "very friendly" atmosphere. This reviewer stated they had "no complaints" and highly recommended Wah House to anyone wanting Chinese food, even suggesting it is worth a drive for those who live farther away. This feedback paints a picture of a restaurant with excellent food quality, a welcoming family-run environment, and friendly service that leaves a lasting positive impression.

In contrast, another customer shared a negative experience specifically related to a phone order and customer service. This reviewer called to order chicken and fried rice and was informed that the dish typically comes with pork and vegetables. When they requested to substitute the pork and vegetables for just onions in their fried rice, they were told that the onions would be an extra charge. The reviewer expressed disappointment, stating that they were willing to exchange the unwanted pork and vegetables for onions. They mentioned being a frequent customer in the past but indicated that this negative customer service experience would likely lead them to patronize other establishments in the future, emphasizing the importance of customer service, especially for loyal customers.

Considering these two reviews, we see a dichotomy in the reported experiences at Wah House Chinese Restaurant. One customer raves about the food quality, friendly service, and family-owned charm, suggesting these are significant strengths of the establishment. This positive feedback could be a strong indicator for local users seeking delicious Chinese cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere.

However, the negative review highlights a potential issue with order customization and flexibility, as well as the handling of customer requests. The inflexibility regarding a simple ingredient substitution and the imposition of an extra charge for onions, especially for a customer willing to forgo other ingredients, raises concerns about customer service and the restaurant's willingness to accommodate specific dietary preferences or requests. This could be a point of consideration for customers with allergies, dietary restrictions, or specific preferences.

Without access to a menu, it is challenging to provide specific details about the variety of Chinese dishes offered at Wah House. However, based on the common offerings of Chinese restaurants, one can expect a range of options including fried rice (as mentioned in one of the reviews), noodle dishes, various chicken, beef, pork, and seafood entrees prepared with different sauces and vegetables, as well as soups and appetizers like egg rolls and dumplings. The negative review mentions "chicken and fried rice" coming with "pork and vegetables," suggesting a combination meal or a standard preparation of a particular dish.

For local users in West Palm Beach looking for a Chinese restaurant, Wah House, located on N Military Trail, offers a family-owned environment that at least one customer found to have the best food in the area and very friendly service. This positive aspect could make it a compelling choice for those prioritizing food quality and a welcoming atmosphere. However, the reported issue with customer service regarding order customization is a factor that some potential customers might want to consider, especially if they have specific dietary needs or preferences.

Promotional information for Wah House Chinese Restaurant is not included in the provided reviews. Local users interested in any special offers, lunch specials, or discounts should contact the restaurant directly using the phone numbers provided. Many family-owned restaurants often have regular customers and might offer informal promotions or build rapport that leads to certain benefits. Checking local online platforms or social media (if Wah House has a presence) might also provide information about any current promotions.

In conclusion, Wah House Chinese Restaurant in West Palm Beach presents a somewhat mixed picture based on the available customer reviews. While one customer enthusiastically praises their food, friendly service, and family-owned charm, another reports a negative experience with customer service regarding order customization and pricing for a simple ingredient substitution. Local users seeking high-quality Chinese food and a friendly atmosphere might find Wah House appealing, as suggested by the positive review. However, the reported inflexibility in accommodating a customer's request is a point that potential patrons may want to keep in mind, particularly if they anticipate needing any modifications to standard menu items. Contacting the restaurant directly for menu details, service options (dine-in, takeout, delivery), and any current promotions is recommended to get a complete understanding of what Wah House offers.

Stopped in for lunch , the server at the counter was friendly. I asked for 1 beef and broccoli and 1 beef with vegetables both with fried rice they come with a small soup. They gave plenty of food but didn't have any flavor, it looks good just lacking the flavor. Also got 6 chicken wings. All I can say is it's ok . I couldn't tell the beef broccoli from the beef vegtables . Will not be back

So my go to spot is usually Star River, but on it just so happens they’re closed on Wednesdays so therefore I decided to give away House a try and boy oh boy did they not disappoint. $12 for a dinner combo which could feed at least 3 people lol and 10/10 for the food. Definitely a customer for life now.
