My wife and I visiting relatives in DC area, found this restaurant for lunch. Very unique to this family from Florida! Because the menu was so much fun, we ordered way too much food. They had giant oysters, biggest I have ever seen. I tried steamed chicken feet and steamed beef tendon, really great flavors and texture. We ordered some shrimp and vegetables wrapped in rice paste, also steamed, never seen anything like it and very good. We had selections of steamed pork buns, cuttlefish with pickled vegetables, it goes on and on. The servers were super nice and helpful. The restaurant is very basic, but busy even at lunch. A super experience.

I wouldn’t be able to name all the dim sum dishes we got but everything tasted exceptional with the exception of the avocado/shrimp egg rolls. Much better than Mark’s Duck House.

This is my first time trying Dim Sum and Vinh Kee and it was a great experience! I lived truly everything, from the Chinese broccoli, shrimp balls, to desert. Definitely recommend to anyone who lices dim sum and wanting to try it for the first time!

We always order congee and roast pig here. The food is great, and the service is warm and friendly. My husband and I will be coming back more often! ♥️

Totally loved our dishes - full of the Breath of the Wok! The dishes came with little oil and very moderately salted. The Dry Beef Chow Foon is the BEST we’ve had in the DMV. the proportion of beef and rice noodles is right and the noodles are truly dry (hate those mushy noodles drenched in excessive oil) and very pleasant to chew on - this is what TRUE chow foon should be. Vi h Kee is so underrated, they seem to be honoring the tradition, yet too bad not many people can appreciate the authenticity of Cantonese cooking. We will come back to try more dishes.
