An outstanding restaurant located on the riverfront of the Connetquot River. The views from this restaurant are stunning and make for the perfect atmosphere to enjoy your meal. The food was wonderful, and the portion sizes were just right. The entire staff at the restaurant were very helpful, friendly and sociable and took care of all our needs in a timely manner, no complaints whatsoever. There is ample free parking right next to the restaurant and you have a choice to dine inside or outside on the deck. We recommend the next if the weather is nice so you may enjoy the gentle ocean breeze as you eat your meal. This is a very good-sized restaurant that is well maintained and very clean.

Nice outside dining area that is heated, overlooking the bay. We came during restaurant week. So there was prefixed menu you can pick from. We got some drinks, we tried the oysters, clam-chowder, and the swordfish. For dessert was the cheesecake. All were delicious! If you like seafood, come try this place out.

We recently had our wedding at VIEW! I literally can't say enough good things about it... would give 11 stars if I could. After getting engaged, I was a bit skeptical about having a whole big wedding and never imagined it would be such an incredible experience. The owner Jimmy and manager Jesse were lovely and helpful through the booking and administrative process. Jonathan, our event manager went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect and also that I was comfortable with everything leading up to the day. The day of, Jonathan acted as manager, coordinator, and everything in between. He made sure everything went smoothly and perfectly, arranged with all the vendors, personally made sure my decor was set up, etc. etc. My mom told me after how many of our family and friends told her this was the best wedding they had ever been to. The food was incredible, vibe was perfect, and the view.. well obviously it was amazing since the whole place is surrounded by water. We did the vendor package and had quite a good experience with all the partners as well. I added some extras with the florist as I wanted the gazebo decorated where we did the ceremony outside- and it was perfect. Otherwise everything that came with the package was fantastic and we used it as is. Many people also raved about the cake. Again cannot say enough good things- the VIEW truly gave us a wedding experience beyond what I thought was possible and I am SO GLAD we did it! We can't wait to go back to celebrate our anniversary.

We recently had our wedding here this past Saturday and I cannot say enough about how incredible of an experience we had!! From the amazing food to the staff (JIMMY JON JESSE -THANK YOU), the absolutely stunning view, the way their management team brought every little detail of our vision to life, etc etc! The View has made our special day even more special. Our Maitr d’ Jon was just fantastic- so helpful , so attentive , so welcoming. Our friends and family cannot stop talking about how perfect of a day it was. We are truly grateful for this flawless wedding that the View gave us. Michael & Kristie ♥️

Stunning view, but not sure the food and service were worth the overall experience. Came here for my girlfriend’s birthday and got seated. The waiter came by 30 minutes later to take drinks then another 15 minutes for food order. At that point we ordered appetizers and entrees right away. The food and drinks were okay. Not the best considering the overall cost. Overall, the “view” was amazing but there’s many other restaurants that offer great views but have better food and service. I would definitely come by if the service was better but in reviewing other comments, this is consistent over the last few years and doesn’t seem to have improved.
