University Roadhouse

As an international student, the place was good to experience American dining. But as Indian, I am used to diverse flavours in terms of spices and marinates. I had their famous chicken fingers but I did not like it. It tasted blend but it could be as I am used to eating much more diverse flavours (I will put tandoori chicken above those fingers anyday). I liked the Hot Honey Sweet Potato Fries and the goat cheese with it. It is highly recommended

Nice place right beside the university. We sat upstairs outside on the patio. Very nice atmosphere. The food and service were amazing. Fried Brussel sprouts were great! I had the BLT with avocado, and it was very good. Good place to catch a game and drink a few beers.

I went there for the first time and had a terrible experience with the service. We were seated immediately as there were not many customers. However, the server never showed up to take our orders. We had to wait for 25 minutes to order. Once we placed our order, the food came comparatively sooner but the server never came back to check on us. Once we received the bill, it was the same thing. No one came to take our card. It ended up being a terrible and frustrating experience for us. The food was nice though!

We've been regulars here for a long time, but I had to congratulate their chef for the fantastic food we had on New Year's Eve. The unique menu was a great surprise and the Stuffed Chicken Marsala was AMAZING! It's the best dish we've had there in a long time. Everyone was raving about the food and we're hoping that adding more upscale dishes as daily specials will be a regular option. DELICIOUS - GREAT JOB!!

We stopped in on a whim while visiting Western and are glad we did. The food was great, and fair for the price. The pepperjack chicken club special was excellent! The atmosphere was relaxed. The service was very friendly. Zoe took great care of us! We'd definitely recommend stopping in if you're looking for somewhere to eat near Read Fieldhouse.
