Uncle Henry

The food here is wonderful! I would say this is the most authentic Hongkong BBQ around Denver area. The chicken, roast duck, roast pork and BBQ pork are my favorites. They taste remarkably juicy and the servings are quite large! There are always many people in line, but in the end it’s totally worth it!

Uncle Henry's has been on my list of places to try due to its consistent popularity and intriguing menu. I visited on a Sunday afternoon when it was quite busy. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and I ultimately decided on the BBQ pork combo plate (served with fried rice and steamed broccoli) and the Mongolian beef with steamed rice. Both dishes were visually appealing, but I found the Mongolian beef to be the standout. The dish featured perfectly cooked onions (a mix of green, white, and red) and carrots, all complemented by a flavorful, peppery seasoning. While not spicy, the dish was easily customizable with Sriracha sauce on the side. Overall, it was my favorite of the two. The Hong Kong style BBQ pork was tender and flavorful, pairing well with the fried rice. The steamed broccoli was okay although it was served plain without any sauce or seasoning. While this may appeal to those who prefer simpler preparations, I would have enjoyed a sauce to enhance the flavor. To accompany the meal, I had a bottle of golden oolong tea, which paired wonderfully with the dishes. The service was efficient and friendly despite the busy lunch crowd. I look forward to returning to explore more of the menu, as there are several items that caught my attention. Uncle Henry's offers more than just typical Chinese cuisine, it delivers an exciting twist on authentic Asian flavors. I highly recommend checking it out!

Stopped in on rainy Friday evening. Very friendly service at the counter but it took awhile to get my food since they were slammed. Totally worth the wait. Got the 3 meat / rice / veggie platter and Singapore noodles to carry out, hoping to have leftovers. I’m a big eater and barely made a dent. Very much looking forward to my lunch tomorrow. Call ahead during peak times!

Unfortunately our experience was bad. We ordered fried rice , orange chicken, pork bbq, and noodles. We felt pork bbq and noodles were salty , fried rice was way too fried ( the rice was hard hard chucks ) , orange chicken was too chewy. It might be the day we went when you compare the other reviews but we didn’t like the food. From our experience, Service might need to improve. We were four and they served 3 paper plates and 3 fork assuming one will eat from the to go box. We might not go again even to try other menu items.

Looks like a small family owned restaurant. Menu is authentic Chinese food compared to buffets. Ordered Kung pao shrimp and a soup bowl with noodles with roasted duck and BBQ pork. All real good!
