I can't recommend this place enough—hands down the best dining experience I've had in Katy! Our group ordered 5-6 different dishes, including a few appetizers, and every single one exceeded expectations. The flavors were fantastic, and the presentation was spot-on. What really set this place apart, though, was the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The highlight of the night was getting to see Uncle Chin himself perform a few songs, and he even invited our group to join in for some karaoke fun! It was such a personal, interactive experience that made the evening even more memorable. I’ll definitely be back with more friends and family. This place offers everything you want in a dining experience—great food, incredible hospitality, and entertainment that truly brings people together. Don’t miss out on this gem in Katy!

Everything about this place is great! Uncle Chin is so nice! When he's not busy, he greets guests and even sings us a song. He's got a great voice, but his food is even better. We've tried many, and all are delicious!

This is hidden gem! Most valuable satay skewers had. Uncle chin has 2 combo selections to let you try 1 appetizer and 2 entrees for reasonable price. All very good. Uncle chin came out the kitchen to greeted everyone to ensure everyone is okay. The hainanese chicken came with 3 good dipping sauces. The stir fry noodles was so good, not burnt and good flavor! I will definitely come back to try other dishes. I recommend you try this small mom and pop

This was delicious! I’ve been to Phat Eatery (which is good), but I like Uncle Chin’s better. Both the food and atmosphere felt very homey, and Mr. Chin came out and talked to me and was very kind. I got the passion fruit and plum drink, roti and curry, and sizzling tofu. I could eat that curry all day long, it was *amazing*. It had big chunks of potato and chicken in it, and the chicken had that great falling off the bone tenderness. The curry felt like something a mom would make, oh it was good. The tofu was also great. It came smothered in sauce and seafood and was full of flavor. Next time I have out of state family in town this will be one of the restaurants I bring them to. Please go this restaurant! You’ll be happy you did :)

The flakiest roti I’ve ever had! Authentic and tasty food served with love. Uncle Chin even came out of the kitchen to greet us! Highly recommend stopping in.
