I really liked eating at Triple Pepper! It's in the same plaza/location as the old Pepper Twins in this area, and I think it's considerably better. The service staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is very nice, and the food was excellent. For main dishes, we had two pork dishes - the twice-cooked pork and the pork with preserved mustard greens. For veggies, we had the dry-fried green beans. The twice-cooked pork and dry-fried green beans are classic go-tos for me at Sichuan places, and these definitely lived up to my expectations - very flavorful. The pork with preserved mustard greens was a surprise hit - the pork belly was soft and the mustard greens and seasoning were excellent, especially mixed in with rice. I definitely plan to come back!

The atmosphere is great, making it an ideal spot for hosting guests. The presentation of the dishes is done with great care and attention to detail. The food is delicious, and my personal favorite is the dish with century eggs, which is absolutely outstanding. I also highly recommend the dry pot pork intestines and stir-fried green beans. The environment is clean, and the background music is relaxing, adding to the overall dining experience. Additionally, the service is excellent, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring everything runs smoothly. Whether you're looking for a place to treat friends or simply enjoy a high-quality meal, this restaurant is a fantastic choice. Every aspect, from the ambiance to the food, music, and service, reflects a commitment to quality. Highly recommended!

Triple Pepper is a standout Chinese Sichuan restaurant. The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes. From appetizers and flavorful snacks to seafood, traditional favorites, dry pots, rice, noodles, and vegetables, there’s something for everyone. The portions are generous and the ingredients are fresh. The ambiance strikes a balance between cozy and upscale, providing a comfortable setting for both casual lunches and intimate dinners. The staff is attentive and ensures a pleasant dining experience. Combination Lo Mein – A well-balanced mix of proteins and vegetables with perfectly cooked noodles. It had great flavor without being overly greasy. A solid choice for noodle lovers. Spicy Sour Eggplant – A delicious balance of heat and tanginess. The eggplant is soft yet holds its shape well, absorbing the bold flavors of chili and vinegar beautifully. Spicy Screaming Chicken – Aptly named, this dish packs a fiery punch. The chicken is tender and juicy. Definitely a must-try for spice lovers. Three Pepper Lamb – A fantastic dish with tender, well-seasoned lamb pieces tossed with a trio of peppers. It delivers heat, depth, and a hint of smokiness. Mouthwatering Chicken – True to its name, this dish is a highlight. Served chilled in a spicy, aromatic sauce, the chicken is incredibly tender with just the right amount of numbing Sichuan spice. Pork with Pickled Mustard Greens – A comforting dish with a nice contrast between the rich pork and the tangy mustard greens. The flavors are well-balanced and pair wonderfully with rice. Ants Climbing a Tree – A classic Sichuan dish made with glass noodles and ground pork. The noodles soak up the spicy, savory sauce, making each bite addictive. Dry Fried Green Beans – Perfectly blistered and crispy on the outside while still tender inside. The seasoning is spot on, with bits of garlic enhancing the flavor. Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) – Steamed to perfection, these dumplings have a thin, delicate wrapper encasing a flavorful broth and juicy pork filling. A must-order for dumpling fans. Brown Sugar Rice Cakes – A delightful dessert with a chewy texture and just the right amount of sweetness. The brown sugar glaze adds a deep caramelized flavor that makes it hard to stop eating. Overall, Triple Pepper delivers consistently bold and authentic Sichuan flavors. Whether you’re in the mood for fiery spice, comforting noodles, or a sweet treat, their menu has something to impress every palate.

We have been dining at the first Triple Pepper (in Chinatown) many times. My family just wanted to try out this second Triple Pepper in River Oaks, since we all enjoyed the tasty food at the first one. My son loved every dish we ordered, and my wife and I agreed with him. The restaurant is cozy and the atmosphere is pleasant. The service is great. One last point, which is the most important one, the rest rooms are neat and clean.
