This restaurant is terrible. Worst experience ever! You come in and the old waiter keeps asking you order the expensive food, when I ordered tea, she keeps asking me to upgrade to jasmine green tea which I don’t want. After ordering she suddenly comes over and ask me to buy things for a girls’ scouts. I say I don’t want to, then 3 min later she asks me again... We ordered three dishes, one fish and one vegetable is ok, the other one “fried mifen” is terrible, the beef they use is not fresh and very hard. And the noodle is too salty. Any the end we don’t feel very happy so tips not much, the waiter keeps asking us to add to the tips... we are so unhappy and wants to leave so we give her more money. So I write so long here asking everyone pass by do not come in eat here! Terrible! What’s more, it shows “潮汕粥粉面” but it is actually a Vietnamese restaurant! What a cheating!!!!!!! Long sentences in short: DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Food taste meh, and it was expensive for such quality of food. I had Chow Fun and Homemade Soymilk, and it was a little bland in taste. Owner lady was pretty rude and desperate for business. She even told a sad story about herself, not sure it's that true or just a business tactic to draw customers. Will not come here again.

There's something appealing about 1950s style melamine tables (a bit chipped and worn through the top in places) and vinyl cushioned chairs, all in a Vietnamese restaurant. Clearly, this place isn't the best. The service is not quick. However I don't care. I've been wandering by this restaurant for a number of years, and on-and-off through its doors many times. I'm not sure business was ever great for this place. most times the owner is opening the door beckoning people to come in to her nearly empty restaurant. I've always eaten the Pho. The beef pho is good, certainly not great. However, I learned by accident that the chicken pho is really quite good. She was out of beef one time - in fact pho wasn't even on the menu (she told me she had a new cook), She asked if I'd eat chicken, and about 15 minutes later came out a wonderful bowl of chicken pho. Not great as far as the noodles go...average. But the chicken was definitely fresh and there was plenty of it. It was a good portion overall, and the price was average with other restaurants. This place is sentimental I guess for me. It isn't the best of places, nor would I likely try some of the dishes here. However, if you can excuse the old lady with her running commentary as you're eating, and the desolateness caused by lack of customers, it's somehow nice.

Im a picky eater, but this food was delicious, the waiting time was minimum, the prices very reasonable, the coconut water is actualy a opened coconut and served in it. Its the best food I had in china town. Thanks to the owners since 1988.

The food was great and the owner was very nice. The price was also very affordable. My second time here and definitely had to come back.
