Customer Reviews
I dined at “Towson Best” today and was impressed by the delicious Chinese cuisine and sushi, bursting with authentic flavors. The service was remarkable — friendly, attentive staff committed to an exceptional dining experience. Overall, it offers a wonderful combination of tasty food and excellent service. Highly recommended for dining in, takeout or delivery.
3rd time eating from here/ordering takeout: Ordered the Sesame Chicken Lunch box which comes with rice, a spring roll, and soda. It tastes freshly cooked, and the portion is filling! This place is very affordable, staff are always friendly, and the food is always delicious. Towson Best never disappoints!!! It's a shame that Towson Best and the surrounding stores aren't bustling with business. They definitely deserve it and altogether make the perfect area for college students in Towson.
I ordered shrimp toast and they gave me pork!! When I called and asked was it pork in the shrimp toast they told me “yes sorry”. I want to let people be aware just in case you don’t eat pork you shouldn’t eat from here!!!
I do not write bad reviews unless it’s warranted. If you see my reviews in places they are usually good. However, i like to tell the truth constantly, because it helps others . I used to find this food decent. I have ordered this place frequently. It has gone down hill. I ordered “Crispy Sesame Tofu” and “Crab Wontons”. I love tofu it’s weirdly one of my favorite foods. This however was beyond gross, it wasn’t crispy at all. It didn’t have flavoring. They also used to have the best crab wontons I noticed they took it off the menu for a bit. I was please when they put it back, I knew there had to change something. I was weary but still ordered it. Let outside of the wontons where hard I was afraid I would chip a tooth. Still ate it, the inside taste family, but I realized they change something, it wasn’t as tasteful. It made me a bit nauseated. I know the times are hard right now with all the prices changing constantly, and I put that into consideration when writing this review. At the same time When we order food, we expect it to be around the same quality and it wasn’t. I’m sorry to the business owner for reading this. I felt bad but I like to consider myself an honest person.
We eat here on a regular basis, as it is one of my FIL's favorites. We typically eat in. There is parking out back which isn't too terrible. 100% tracks for the area. The service is exceptionally fast. The staff is efficient and polite. We've never had bad service. Moment of honesty... I'm normally not a huge fan of Chinese food. I didn't grow up eating it. I typically stick to my 2-3 standards or "safe choices." (My biggest complaint about most all Chinese restaurant menus, is that the descriptions are so vague, it's hard to know what you're ordering unless you already know.) This is the place where I've tried a dozen different dishes because everything I've tried so far has been so good! They have some of the best wonton soup. We order it with every meal. The portions are very generous. We always go home with enough leftovers for another whole meal. If I had to complain about anything, it would be how sterile it feels. My in-laws have been going here forever, and introduced me to it, about 30 yrs ago, when it was still Goldentown Inn. When they were taken over and remodeled they lost a lot of that warmth. Overall, we do enjoy it and will continue going back regularly.
