About Top's China Restaurant

Top's China Restaurant is a Chinese dining establishment located at 185 W Lee Hwy in Warrenton, Virginia (20186, USA). As a local option within the Chinese Restaurant category, Top's China aims to provide a variety of Chinese culinary dishes to the Warrenton community. Situated on West Lee Highway, it is accessible to those seeking Chinese food in the area. The restaurant can be contacted at (540) 349-2828 or via mobile at +1 540-349-2828 for inquiries or to place orders.

Based on the limited customer feedback available, the environment of Top's China Restaurant is not extensively described. However, one positive review offers a glimpse into the kitchen activity, noting the presence of "multiple chefs in the kitchen prepping food for lunch." This observation suggests a potentially busy and professionally staffed kitchen, which could be indicative of a restaurant that takes its food preparation seriously, at least at certain times. The other review does not comment on the physical environment of the restaurant, focusing instead on the quality of the takeout food. Therefore, concrete details about the ambiance, cleanliness, or décor of Top's China are not sufficiently available from the provided information.

The services offered by Top's China Restaurant appear to include both dine-in and takeout options, although this is not explicitly stated. One reviewer mentioned having lunch at the restaurant, implying a dine-in service, while the other detailed a takeout experience. The positive review highlighted promptness in preparation, as the presence of multiple chefs suggests an ability to handle orders efficiently. However, the negative review described a significant issue with the quality of the takeout food, indicating a potential inconsistency in their service or food preparation standards, particularly for takeout orders. Therefore, while they offer the standard services of a Chinese restaurant, the reliability of the quality might vary.

The features of Top's China Restaurant, as portrayed by the contrasting customer reviews, present a mixed image. One reviewer highlighted several dishes with unique and appealing flavor profiles. The Chicken & broccoli was noted for its "light curry flavor" on the chicken, a departure from the often bland versions found elsewhere. The fried rice was also commended for including "bbq pork," adding an extra layer of flavor. Additionally, the Moo Goo Gai Pan was praised for having a "nice garlic kick," again suggesting a more flavorful preparation than the typically mild versions of this dish. The reviewer seemed impressed by these distinct flavor enhancements, indicating a potential strength in their approach to traditional Chinese dishes.

However, the second review paints a starkly different picture, describing a very negative experience with their takeout food. This customer stated that the food tasted "old," as if it had been prepared "days ago." Specific issues included "hard" rice and egg rolls that seemed to have been sitting in a refrigerator for an extended period. This reviewer, who claimed to be generally easy to please, expressed significant disappointment and frustration with the quality, labeling it "absolutely disgusting," "shameful," and "disrespectful." This feedback raises serious concerns about the freshness and quality control of the food, at least for takeout orders at the time of this review. The stark contrast between these two reviews suggests a potential inconsistency in food quality over time or between dine-in and takeout services.

Currently, there is no information provided regarding any promotional offers or special deals at Top's China Restaurant. Neither of the customer reviews mentions any discounts, loyalty programs, or limited-time promotions. Local users interested in finding out about any potential promotions would need to contact the restaurant directly at (540) 349-2828 or +1 540-349-2828. They may also inquire about any regular specials or offers that Top's China might have.

In conclusion, Top's China Restaurant in Warrenton, VA, presents a somewhat contradictory image based on the limited customer feedback. While one reviewer praised the flavorful and unique preparations of dishes like Chicken & broccoli, fried rice with bbq pork, and Moo Goo Gai Pan, another customer had a severely negative experience with takeout food that was described as old and unappetizing. The positive review suggests that the restaurant might have the potential to deliver well-prepared and flavorful Chinese cuisine, possibly more consistently for dine-in customers, as indicated by the observation of multiple chefs during lunchtime. However, the strong negative feedback regarding the freshness of the takeout food is a significant concern that potential customers should be aware of. Without more consistent and recent reviews, it is difficult to provide a definitive assessment of the current overall quality and service at Top's China Restaurant. Local users might consider trying a dine-in experience to gauge the food quality based on the positive review, while exercising caution with takeout orders due to the serious concerns raised in the negative review. Further investigation or more recent feedback would be beneficial in forming a more comprehensive understanding of what Top's China Restaurant currently offers.

I had a hunch this place would be good when I saw multiple chefs in the kitchen prepping food for lunch. Their Chicken & broccoli used a light curry flavor on the chicken and fried rice had bbq pork in it. Moo Goo Gai Pan has a nice garlic kick. Both of these dishes have a tendency to be bland, or at least mild, at many Chinese restaurants but not at Top’s China!

The food from this place used to be half decent when I first moved to the area, and that's not saying much. We got take out today for dinner and it was absolutely disgusting! Everything was old tasting, like it was prepared days ago. The rice was hard and the egg rolls were probably sitting in that fridge up front for days. Im not hard to please at all, and that's how upset I am that I had to take time out of my day to write this review. This is shameful and disrespectful to be serving the community this nonsense! Do not throw your money away on this!

Just paid $40 for the worst take out we’ve ever had. The Crispy beef appears to be coated in an inch of sweet pancake batter and is completely inedible, Singapore noodles are absolutely foul and taste like dishwater, the sweet and sour chicken is passable but the quality of the other dishes is so poor that we won’t trust it. Very, very bad. Like something is wrong kind of bad

By far the best option in the area. You walk in with clear views of the kitchen, and a glass case displaying all the fresh made egg rolls and won tons etc. Veggies in dishes are crisp and every dish I’ve had is better than typical spots. Love this place!

Quick and hot takeout. It was hot all the way until I got home (about a 30min drive). We ordered Lo Mein, Orange Chicken, and Chicken Egg Foo Young. I chose to order an additional dish, because sometimes the Egg Foo Young isn't very good at some Chinese places (everywhere makes it different) but this place had very good egg foo young! The brown gravy was perfect and flavor was just about right. The orange chicken was delicious as well.
