Neighborhood Gem! Absolutely delicious Chinese food with delicious cocktails! I especially liked their more authentic dishes such as Sea Bass (as close to my mom’s cooking as it gets) and even the eggplant tasted just like home! Panfried noodle is also a must try - it’s so hard to find places that serve this!! The decor is lovely and the service was wonderful! You can tell the owners are really nice people people :)
Ridiculously wonderful Chinese food! ⭐️5/5: beef chow fun: delicious sauce, perfectly velvet beef, long wide chewy rice noodles. I could've eaten the whole plate by myself. ⭐️ 5/5: mapo tofu: great tingly spice, silky tofu, fabulous saucy flavor ⭐️ 5/5: eggplant w basil: saucy eggplant was fantastic ⭐️ 5/5: pepper beef: loved all the mushrooms in the sauce _______________________ Random notes: Menu is weirdly designed. Text orientation erratically goes from horizontal to vertical. Made my eyeball twitch. Bathrooms need more attention. No soap in the men's room and both had an entire loose roll of toilet paper just haphazardly placed on top of things instead of inside the toilet paper dispenser. Not very sanitary 🙃 Only two single stalls for each gender. Appreciate the extra sink outside the restrooms.
Yuxiang Garlic Pork is amazing! Very authentic, enough portion, reasonable price, considerate waiter. Will definitely return. - Second time: tried black pepper beef, good but they seem to put too much black pepper, I sneeze a lot. The Zhajiang noodles are slightly sour for some reason.
This Chinese restaurant is situated in Arlington and offers a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Although some of their dishes have solid flavors and contain traces of MSG, they still taste good overall. The service is always excellent, and the restaurant is decorated with numerous paintings and Chinese objects that create a unique dining experience. Overall, we had a happy and satisfying experience with the restaurant.
I eat from here at least twice a month because the food is soooo good however today solidified my desire to continue to support this business. I am allergic to eggs and I always say no egg and somehow get egg. Today I actually called to let the person who took my order that there was egg in my food and that she assured me she had got it and even repeated the order back to me. However, she was rather sharp when I stated I cannot have EGG it ruins my experience, my meal, etc and to go deeper my self worth. Why don’t my money matter, my requests etc. The egg roll was extremely greasy as you can see in the photo it’s a small pool Of oil in the bag - yuck 🤮 The explanation I was provided for why the egg was in my food was that they don’t have time to make a small portion like this and they are super busy with lunch time. An apology was given and that was it. So if you’re not big on customer service/satisfaction then by all means support them cause the food is yummy and so flavorful but for me it’s a NO ——- I will have to do PF Chang’s or Peking Gourmet. You lost ONE Update: 1:02 PM I received a call back stating there was a extra rice put in the bag - I told the lady there was no extra separate rice along with NO NAPKINS - another insult to injury move but based on her response to the egg in my food I didn’t bother to mention it. And when I told her this time she was like nevermind and hung up.
