Roasted Duck and pork fried rice are amazing here. I wanted to check out some other places nearby but the wait was over an hour, so we stopped here and were definitely impressed by the quality. They also give you hot tea to drink as well. Would definitely come back in the future.
Service is excellent. Not a big restaurant but it reminds you of how your mom and pop local neighborhood niches used to be. The same fond memories the place exudes is also the same low prices. The food is good and it won't break the bank. After the meal, you can run across the street and checkout the Chinese market. The Chinese sauce selection there is off the wall!
The 11$ lunch special was far from special. Now I’ve had my fair share of General Tso chicken and know the realm of flavor to expect. This dish has added a new level. Bland. Feels like you’re eating chicken in sauce that has a hint of flavor. I also want to say normally 50/50 rice chicken this was 70/30 rice chicken. Sadly I had high expectations for Chinese food from Chinatown and I was very disappointed. All in all price to flavor and portion is closer to 5$
I stop by to Chinatown on a beautiful Saturday and realized Tin Wong Restaurant has hosted a grand opening festivity. It’s a very lively event with lion dance and people. Tin Wong Restaurant is your typical Chinese restaurant in Chinatown with an emphasis on Cantonese style noodles, rice dishes, and roast meat. Their menu is filled with over 100 items and variants. I ordered their Wonton Noodle Soup with Roast Pork, and it’s pretty good. The roast pork is alright. It’s definitely not as fatty as most places (although it is a matter of preference)! The wonton is filled with meat and shrimp which is the highlight of this entree. However, the egg noodle can always be better! Overall, it’s a great place for a quick lunch and dinner!
Stumbled upon this after going to the market across the street. Pretty good quality roasted meats and wontons are tasty. Very fast and convenient to pick something up after errands!
