About Tin Rooster Dancehall & BBQ

While categorized as a Chinese Restaurant platform, Tin Rooster Dancehall & BBQ, located at 5218 Patrick Rd, Verona, NY 13478, USA, is a restaurant and entertainment venue specializing in BBQ cuisine and featuring a dance hall with live music. They can be contacted at (800) 771-7711 or +1 800-771-7711.

Based on customer reviews, Tin Rooster offers a "fun" and lively atmosphere. Even before the live music begins, the "vibe" is enjoyable. The decor is described as "cool," with unique elements like a saddle disco ball hanging from the ceiling, contributing to the overall ambiance.

The service is generally considered "friendly," with staff taking orders with a smile, delivering food promptly, and providing drink refills. While one reviewer found the service unremarkable, they did not report any negative issues.

The food reviews are somewhat mixed. While the sides, such as the mac and cheese, beans, and hushpuppies, are described as "absolutely delicious" and highly recommended, the entrees received less favorable feedback. One reviewer found the brisket to be "tough" and lacking in flavor, and their husband described the ribs as just "okay." However, another reviewer had a much more positive experience with the BBQ, specifically mentioning the "delicious BBQ" from the "tailgate" platter, which they felt could easily feed four people. They praised the ribs for being fall-off-the-bone tender, the chicken for being smoky and moist, the turkey for its perfect smokiness, and both the brisket and pulled pork as good. This reviewer also recommended the mac and cheese as a side but found the hushpuppies a bit dry and flaky.

Tin Rooster appears to be a place where the experience might vary depending on individual preferences for entrees. It seems to excel in its sides and offers a unique atmosphere with its dance hall setting and live music (though the timing of the music wasn't specified in the reviews). It could be a good option for those looking for a fun night out with BBQ, particularly if sharing a larger platter like the "tailgate." However, those prioritizing high-quality brisket and ribs might want to consider the mixed feedback.

Currently, no specific promotional information was mentioned in the provided reviews. For details on any current specials or events, it is recommended to contact Tin Rooster Dancehall & BBQ directly.

My husband and I had dinner here during our stay just after the Christmas holidays. The atmosphere was fun - we arrived before any live music but enjoyed the vibe nonetheless. Service was friendly. Nothing to go on about, but orders were taken with a smile, food delivered to the table, and we were checked on and drink refills given. I was hoping the food would be the star of the show. My husband loves bbq and I wanted this to be a great experience for him. Unfortunately, this was our least favorite dining spot during our stay. The sides were absolutely delicious; if there was an option to order a meal of all sides, I would be back for sure! I loved the mac and cheese and the beans as well as the hushpuppies. However, our entrees were just not very good. The brisket was tough, and without much flavor, I honestly didn't eat most of it. My husband said the ribs were just okay. Wanting this to be a better experience unfortunately doesn't change anything. If you are visiting Turning Stone, I definitely would recommend choosing another location if you are looking for a meal and not just drinks and dancing.

Delicious BBQ. Went with the tailgate. Two of us could not finish. Def for 4 people. Rib meat fell off the bone. Chicken was smokey n moist. Turkey was smoked to perfection. Brisket and pulled pork both good. Enough food for 4 people. Two sides. Recommend the Mac n Cheese. Hush puppies not so much. A little dry and flakey. Cool atmosphere and decorations. There was a saddle disco ball hanging from the ceiling.

Tin Rooster just started doing line dancing on Thursdays so I had to check it out! I had never line danced before so I did not know what to expect but I had a great time with my friends. They start the night with an instructor who leads the group through a few different dances and then it transitions into requests so people can dance to the songs they want. A really fun night and fun way to break up the week!

The food is excellent, I ordered the smoked turkey and it was tender and had great flavor. My meal was priced attractively. The servers are friendly and attentive to see if you like your food or need anything else. My husband ordered a meat platter with ribs and turkey he was happy with his meal as well. It is definitely among one of my favorite places to eat.

I went to the tin rooster for the first time this weekend. It was pretty decent except for a few minor things. The show I was looking forward to seeing was with Tom Nitti. He was excellent. His band was scheduled to start around 10pm but we arrived early to try the food. We were told they were in their dining hours. The hostesses were rather snotty and immediately turned us away stating they were not accepting any more people for dinner. They simply refused to seat us. I asked them if the bar was open and if they served food, they replied that it in fact was and then mentioned the many high top tables that were available. I was rather disappointed with their demeanor. After we sat we were greeted by the friendliest bartender Maryanne. She was very accommodating and attentive even though the bar was quite busy. She gave us the lay of the land as you could say and made sure we were well taken care of. The food here is delicious. We had the chicken sandwich and ribs with an appetizer of fried pickles. Everything tastes amazing and it paired well with the drinks we ordered. The night went on and we had so much fun eating our full enjoying the drinks and dancing the night away. I will say it can be quite expensive if you aren't careful but it was well worth it in the end. For the number of people allowed to enter you would think they'd accommodate people dining a bit more. Try it for yourself I think it'll be well liked in the long run
