For value, it’s no contest. The food is very good for small plates that are $3.99. You get to try a bunch of plates and be satisfied. Nothing is blow ya out the water but solid to great all around: egg plant, Thai basil is pretty awesome, tofu is good but my friend loves it. Good stuff. Enjoy. 4.5 out of 5 for food but 5 out of 5 for value. Seating, limited but it’s LAX.

Tigawok does what it aims to accomplish. I ordered the orange peel chicken and rice which came out to around $7. The orange peel chicken was tasty with a cardamom like flavor and orange peels. This food reminded me of frozen food from Trader Joe’s, but again… it was tasty and affordable with a good vibe / space. I got to hand it to them. This is the future. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

I seldomly write reviews on google, but this restaurant is really great and worth a five-star. Foods there are tasty and wallet-friendly. It’s only $12 to buy items in Pic 1. Service is absolutely excellent! I was not mean to spoil the dish, but one of the staff there comforts me and gives me a refill. They are all kind and easy-going. I am just a traveler there, but I hope all UCLA students would know here!

My ex was cheap, but this place is inexpensive. Notice the difference in connotation! On the whole, the variety is outstanding - classic Chinese-American fusion. I wish some of the dishes were crispier, but it's a small complaint of a great fast casual establishment.

Ordered Wagyu Rice Bowl, Sweet Tomato and Scrambled Eggs, Dry-pot Brussels Sprouts, Mapo Tofu, Orange Peel Chicken, Hand Torn Cabbage, and Chow Mein. The Wagyu rice bowl has part rice and a good portion of mixed pork ends, so if you don’t want too much pork, this is fine. The Sweet Tomato and Scrambled Eggs were really good, the eggs were very dense and the tomato was indeed on the sweet end, definitely a side to get. The Dry-pot Brussels Sprouts were well-seasoned and prepared well. The Mapo Tofu isn’t very spicy but has a slight burn, the tofu cubes are not small and the meat in here is good too. The Orange Peel Chicken was a nice comfort food option to fall back on so it’s a great choice if you can’t decide on a protein. The Hand Torn Cabbage is great if you want to be mindful of incorporating a balanced diet. And the Chow Mein is a solid base carb to start with. This place gets really busy really quickly, there is a very high possibility that there are no seats and some customers have left because it was too full and no place to sit. The line works like an old school lunch cafeteria line with getting a tray, choosing which dishes to add to your tray and then paying at the end. There is a large parking structure behind this location that has free parking for a few hours but that gets very busy too with a lot of cars waiting to just get in and out. I happened to go during Halloween so there was a lot of decor inside, the atmosphere was very nice with a mingling of loud conversation in between.
