(7/2/2023) Try this restaurant after Tumbling was lots of people waiting in line, and eventually it turned out decent in my opinion. Service was friendly but it could be better (faster). For food, Hot and Sour Soup was okay because ingredients wasn't match as I expected (Ham instead of Shredded Pork). Dumplings was good because it was juicy, and I Recommended Shrimp & Pork Wonton and Beef Noodle Soup because it was delicious and not too spicy. Probably one of my replacement dumplings restaurant options, and I would like to try Pan Fried Pork Buns next time because lots of customer ordered and it looked pretty good.

The beef noodle soup offered here comes with a mild kick of spiciness. While the soup itself was quite flavorful, I did find the beef to be slightly on the tough and dry side. As for the pork dumplings, they leaned a bit sweeter than I expected, but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. The standout aspect of the experience was the exceptional service. Even though I arrived early and was one of the initial patrons, the place started filling up around 6pm. Both indoor seating and a few outdoor tables are available. And don't worry about parking; there's a generous amount of free parking space around as well.

Came here on a whim on a rainy day while I was in the area. The staff were quite nice and attentive. The braised string beans were delicious and flavorful. I was salivating at the smell as soon as they came out. The Chongqing Chicken is quite a different take on popcorn chicken! It kind of reminded me of hotpot spice. But you're probably here for their dumplings! I'm happy to say that they are delicious as well! I was pleasantly surprised by how much flavor the pan fried dumplings had!

It has been many years (at least it feels that long) since we had decent food for a decent price / wait period in LA. The pandemic did a number on restaurants, turning even the most tried and true eating establishments into a "why do we even bother" experience. Poor food quality, poor food presentation, absolutely terrible service - and all for way more money that anyone should ever spend on such a meal. So I am over-the-top excited about the Tian You Feng Dumpling House. The food is REALLY GOOD, and the server checks back often. The price is acceptable, and we completely understand, because we buy groceries too, and we know prices went up. We've been there twice in the last week, and plan on making it a regular weekly stop. I recommend the spicy dumplings and the garlic chili cucumbers, the sauce is incredible. I've found my new favorite restaurant in LA - oh, and did I mention? They have outdoor seating, so you can bring your best friend.
