Food is tasty, with big proportions and still quality. The service is amazing. Fast, efficient, and veggie roles on the house 🙃. It feels peaceful and good to eat there. There is no rush. There is plenty of space. The ambiance is good. It's definitely a place to try, and once you try, you will keep coming back.
Was a quiet weeknight when we stopped in for dinner. This had been on my list of places to try for some time so I am glad we finally stopped in! We were seated and helped right away and were treated to some springrolls before we even placed our order. We felt very welcome and attended to. We ordered String Beans, Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken and some Fried Rice and all of the food was great. Portion sizes were perfect for two for both dinner and leftovers! They boxed everything up for us and we were in and out in about a half an hour! Would certainly come again and next time early enough to get a boba too!
A nice little gem of a restaurant here in Claremont. Comfort Asian cafe food reflecting some popular dishes you can find in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The food is mid priced, catering to students in the area. A lot of food and drinks and dessert selections. Nice clean restaurant and restrooms. Very friendly service. A bit much breading on the honey walnut shrimp and salt and pepper fish, but some may like that style. Hint: if you're looking for good Asian food for lunch on a Sunday, this place is almost empty, but it's very chill and you'll enjoy a relaxing meal. For students, it's a great place to eat and study.
I ordered kung Pao chicken, wor wonton soup, egg rolls and steamed rice... Sucks. The kung Pao chicken was "chewy"? It tasted almost boiled. The flavor was ok. The soup was a little watery but tasted ok. The wontons inside the soup tasted defrosted, like they used old flour and they were crumbly. The veggies were under cooked. The egg rolls were crispy but all the veggies inside were over cooked and mushy. The rice was not good as well. Over cooked. Very disappointing night of takeout out with family.
A good variety of traditional Chinese food along with menu options familiar to the locals. Had the corn soup which came in a bowl sharable for four, it was creamy and hearty. Also had the Taiwanese style rice noodle stir fry which was well flavored and had a good mix of protein and veggies. So had the tender pork with bean curd and the veggies in the dish were crisp and gave the dish a nice texture. The service was quick and friendly. Will be back for sure.
