The Shrimp Box & Outside The Box Patio Bar

We love the Shrimp Box. Newly renovated dining room this year. Wait for a window seat, and you get a nice view of the fishing boats. Food is very good, I generally go for the fried or broiled Trio. The octopus and tuna bite appetizers are great. Daily special drinks are interesting. For dessert The apple pie or carrot cake are both excellent.

I have been going to this place for over 15 years and I will say that I have never had a bad experience here. The service is always great. The servers are quick fast and attentive. They are also knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere is beautiful. They have so many booths right alongside the water. It feels like you are on a boat. And lastly, the food. It’s always a hit. Everything is cooked to perfection, extremely flavorful, and they are not skimpy. I would definitely recommend this place if you were looking for a delightful night full of great seafood.

Great spot on the water for seafood. Had some fresh oysters which were very tasty and the lobster roll. It’s very nice inside, lots of views of the water. Plus the staff is super nice and friendly. I just went in for a quick lunch so didn’t get a cocktail, but their cocktails looked delicious.

Not my first time, nor my last. Had an outstanding dinner with 5 girlfriends. All of our meals from filet mignon to seafood salad were fantastic!! Bronzini fish special over spinach was amazing!! Can’t wait to come back in summer!!

Went out last Wednesday for dinner at Shrimp box since they opened for the season. We always enjoyed the food but this time it was exceptionally great! I had the broiled stuffed shrimp and my husband had the tuna steak. For appetizers we had soup, Manhattan clam chowder. It was delicious!! The waitress was very helpful and attentive in getting what we wanted and needed. I asked if there was a new chef and she said yes. Definitely worth going too. Went home stuffed and content. The views were beautiful too with the sun setting on the Manasquan inlet.
