The Sarah Street Grill

Nice restaurant Great food Wait was an hour to get food almost but very delicious. My friend had pasta and I had the blackened salmon. It was very flavorful moist well cooked and not fishy tasting at all. It was a melt in your mouth kind of delicious savory of Salmon and I havent had that in a while with a kick of spice and perfect texture. The vegetable medley was seasoned and flavored really well. I was so excited they had organic coffee to drink because all the coffee shops were closed on Sunday evening. A wonderful delight and great food. Service seemed slower here as far as time for food to come out but nice and good area upstairs away from the bar to eat.

4 of us were able to sit at bar without reservations at a busy time (Saturday evening). Food was excellent and didn't take long. Bar service was attentive even though they had a lot going on at once between tables and the bar. Food was delicious and burgers cooked to order. Loved the pickles and peppers. Only improvement would be not as dark (as all bars seem to be but hard to see at times) and soy sauce available for sushi at the bar.

4 of us came for lunch and also to catch up after a while. I was expecting typical Bar fare - which they had, but a friend recommended I try the Sushi. Sushi in the poconos?? Well I am happy to say that the Sushi is fantastic. Even more wonderful was the whitetail carpaccio- first time I ever tried something like this. The sushi is high quality and the rolls were all great. The vibe is awesome with videos playing across multiple monitors. The playlist today was fantastic. Oh- the pickles were excellent! Highly recommended spot and i will definitely Visit when I am back in the area.

We were passing through town and found this place on Google. The food was very good, with a voluminous menu of options, including an individual menu for sushi and cocktails. We were seated upstairs where it was uncomfortably warm, but we appreciated all the pop artwork. I'm not sure if something was wrong with the HVAC system. But I enjoyed the local beer. The chicken cheesesteak was on one of the freshest rolls I've had in recent memory with Italian seasoning on it. Wings were stupendous and flavorful. And I loved the onion soup. It's definitely worth a stop while in Stroudsburg.

I went there to eat with my best friend. The food was exceptional. My issue is that we ordered an appetizer, and our entrees came first. The waitress apologized and said she forgot to put the order in for the appetizer at which point we told her we no longer wanted it because we had our main course. I may go back there because the food is wonderful, but the wait staff need training. UPDATE 10/10/24 I decided to give the Sarah Street Grill another chance. My friend and I went and had spinach artichoke dip and potstickers for appetizers. The artichoke dip was fabulous and the sauce for the potstickers was intriguing. It was spicy and sweet and sour all at the same time. A little too spicy for me though. As entrees I ordered the chicken Saltambuca and my friend had the salmon Oscar. Both dishes were phenomenal. A much better experience the second time around. I definitely have to come back here. I'm glad I gave it another chance.
