Customer Reviews
Rogue Panda in Time Out Market Brooklyn is a bustling spot, especially on a Sunday afternoon around lunchtime! Be prepared for the crowds and a potential 20-30 minute wait, with lines forming at almost every stall (and even the restrooms!). While the egg fried rice with chicken I ordered was decent – served hot and a good portion – I've definitely had better. However, Rogue Panda is a solid option for a quick bite while showing friends around the city. Plus, you can't beat the incredible views from Time Out Market! My tip? Try visiting on a weekday for a more relaxed experience and to better enjoy the food and ambiance.
Time Out Market was extremely crowded during the weekends. Tried The Rogue Panda on the 5th floor and the food was quite nice. Tried the dan dan noodles, mapo tofu, pork dumplings and shiitake truffle fried rice. The pork dumplings were excellent and I love the firm texture of the dan dan noodle.
The Rogue Panda is on the Fifth floor, had great asian options, dumplings were good, but took too long even though place was not crowded.
The sign says that this is a fully plant based menu and yet they transitioned away from being plant based without updating the sign and so I just ate real orange chicken. I am very upset by this situation and though they apologized afterward, it happened. I would recommend everyone to be careful when ordering. I would truly give this experience 0 stars if I was able to.
The place is enjoyable because of the view but I expected more of the food and service. You place your order through a QR scan. I ordered a sesame chicken that is served with rice. The waiter forgot the rice, I asked him about it and he later brought it over but the sesame chicken already got cold and as you can see, part of the rice was not fully cooked, somewhat of a risotto watery texture, and part of it was drier. We were on the same floor as the restaurant but it did not work out well.
